We went on Saturday the 23rd for the last night in its current form. The food was both delicious and inspiring and the wine pairing perfect. The lease on the building is up and I understand/ hope that Robin Wylde will re-emerge later maybe at Lilac Restaurant & Wine Bar I can't wait. Robin Wylde you will be greatly missed.

We’ve dined at Robin Wylde a few times - right back to the early days at the Pop Up. Dinner was fantastic as always. Every offering was fantastic, and beautifully presented Try and get a reservation before it closes.

Incredible food, outstanding service and an amazing 4 hour dining experience unlike any other! Delicious flavours and textures cleverly created to deliver an exquisite and unique tasting menu. Thank you to Harriet and her team for an exceptional evening.Dietary restrictions: A divine alternative to the shellfish was created, one of my favourite courses absolutely delicious and bursting with flavour!

We ate splendidly on Thursday 13th July in the intimate setting (few tables - you have to book). Both of us have different dietary issues - one gluten free, the other no nuts and no shellfish/crustaceans - which were well catered for with the advance notice we gave. The tasting menu is an all evening experience - we sat down for 6pm and left at 9.30pm. Though the food is very simply described on the menu, the dishes are intricate but everything has a place in them. The snacks course was a series with each part worth waiting for, the seafood and meat mains were excellent and they used foraged items well. Dessert was a lovely finish, with chocolates to follow. Each dish all along was far more than the sum of its parts and was - along with the drink pairings - well-introduced by attentive staff. Flavours married beautifully. I had the non-alcoholic selected drinks and my partner had the wine pairings, though each of us tasted both. I really enjoyed the made in-house non-alcoholic drinks and he liked several. The wines were excellent and I ended up drinking more than my share of some - especially the dessert wine. For me, the first snack course, the melting and sweet scallop with the fish main, and the nutty gluten free bread with their special butter were particular highlights. While my dining companion also loved the snacks, he really liked both the plaice and the smoky flavoured beef main courses best. We left feeling satiated but not stuffed. £95 per head (excluding drinks) was very fair value for the craft and labour involved and the service. I could give more details of the dishes but don't want to spoil the suprises. The experience lingered and is a very enjoyable memory.

Our first visit to the restaurant. The whole experience was marvellous and the four of us came away feeling properly pampered. The food (and wine pairing) was excellent - with a focus on locally sourced produce, the staff were amazing and incredibly well informed about the dishes and the wines and the dining room was “intimate” but certainly not small or cramped. Well worth a visit - if you can get a table!!

Amazing taste experiences with wonderful wine pairings...it was an evening of food entertainment. Harriet and her team create a tour of foraged delights and all things great from the region, presented in an art form....it is hard to pick a favourite in the medley of dishes. Treat yourself!!

Such an amazing experience, such a gem! Good honest food. Very delicious and touching all your senses! Definitely recommend. Not cheap but for sure worth while! We have taken the wine pairing once, but in all honesty could not keep up with it (too much), so will not do it again, but was very nice in combination with the dishes.

Outstanding!! The food was excellent, wine pairing beautifully done and the service was top notch. The snacks alone were the gift that kept on giving, there was so much food that I couldn't possibly fit anything else in after all the courses. Highly recommended - best meal I've had in a long, long time!

We ate here on New Year's eve, and had a truly incredible meal and evening all round. We had the tasting menu with wine pairing - the food was genuinely amazing, with incredible combinations of flavours and ingredients; and the wine pairings were fantastic - great wines, expertly matched, and really added to the meal. I must also say how wonderful the service was - which really added to the experience - from Harriet, the chef, through to the whole team. Their explanations of the dishes and the wines really elevated the experience, and created a lovely atmosphere. I can honestly say it was one of the best, if not THE best, dining experience I have ever had. I cannot recommend it highly enough. If you can get a table, then go!

Courses came and went exactly on cue and every course was sublime fresh, delicious, locally sourced and cooked to perfection. Tasting menu 11/11/22. Fantastic food. Many courses of small plates. So much thought has gone into each dish. Seasonal, local and foraged produce. Staff are great. The wine menu is also eye opening. Delicious.
