The lady taking orders was very rude. We bought our drinks and about half an hour later, we went to order some food. She was very angry and rude to us and other customers for no reason. As we tried to order our food, she literally said ‘go away’. If you want drinks, food or absolutely anything else, go elsewhere.

Excellent Shakshouka, the Moroccan one having a decent kick of chilli. Massive coffee and pleasantly situated.

We were quite disappointed with our visit to The Beach House Cafe this morning. You could sense the negative energy and stress from the person working who said she was short staffed until 9am (so not sure why they opened before 9) we completely understood how that could be stressful, but as a result the server was rude to customers, not just us, we saw other customers upset with the service. If we hadn’t already paid we would have just left. Real shame as ideally located and the food was okay. Won’t be returning.

A lovely breakfast. My husband had the full Monty and particularly liked the sausage. I had the salmone royale and it was delicious! The sour dough toast was a lovely change. The coffee had chocolate and Licorice undertones and I loved it! I would have happily bought some to take away. The owner was very friendly, the service was super quick. We had called in early having not been before to the area so left very happy.

Lovely little cafe right on the seafront at Lyme. We had delicious bacon sandwiches for breakfast made with freshly sliced bread and good quality bacon. Impressed. The variety on offer was very good and all looked delicious. The staff were really friendly and attentive. The fact that people were queuing for tables outside will give you some idea of its popularity.

Would definitely recommend a shakshouka! Lots of different varieties on a tasty dish, using fresh ingredients. Great beach-side location.Only criticism is that their menus are falling to pieces!Vegetarian options: A decent variety of vegetarian options, including a vegan shakshouka, from what I recall

Breakfast on whatever you feel like from a couple of pieces of toast (me) to a FULL English or shakshuka. Good coffee and friendly staff. Nice to be able to sit inside once more.

Likes -The food was cooked very well and nicely.Dislikes -The girl who served me couldn't show any enthusiasm or customer service, it's like she was annoyed to be there, or me asking for food, I didn't feel welcome by her.The day just started!Full monty? More like mini monty, for £11.50 it was a rubbish tiny portion! I could've got a full english from tesco that would've served 2x people for that price. - pic attached. There was no mayonnaise to be seen, and I had to search for sauces and cutlery as the girl didn't explain at till.Parking: Car park about 500yards away £1.90 per hour up until 9pm but times might change during winter & summer.

Food was all nice but they kept bringing the wrong food out even though they had a numbering system that they didn’t seem to use?? The man on the till was very nice but could of been a bit more welcoming

The rudest woman I’ve ever met! I’m not one to complain but this was disgusting. Unwelcoming, vile, shouty and so mean to her poor staff. Food was good but her service and attitude was the worst I’ve ever come across. If you can’t deal with people and a bit of stress, dont be in hospitality! Never felt so sorry for staff in my life. Check your receipts too as she over charged us!

turned up here this morning with my wife and both of us looking forward to having the Greek Shashuka for breakfast only to be asked by waiter guy if we can pay cash. as they have a 'poor Internet connection'. I told him no i dont carry cash as many others don't either. We live in the 21st century and Internet and Wi-Fi are every where and this cafe really need to get with the times....no Internet connection, yeh right , !!!!!??

There are three or so Vegan options on the menu, but the Shakshouka is the best. So very different for a typical English seaside town. Tasted lovely. Came with pita bread. Beautiful seafront setting.

Highly recommended. A gem of a little dog friendly cafe right on the beachfront. Great menu. The Shakshuka was wonderful. The owner and the staff are delightful and so welcoming.
