Absolutely delicious fish and chips today and by far the best I've had for ages. Would definitely recommend. Very friendly and welcoming staff.

Unfortunately we found the owner on the phone so unbelievably unhelpful. We then hoped it was a one off, so visited to see what the options on. We found the member of staff to be clipped, rude and not at all helpful. We have a coeliac in our party and despite all the amazing reviews we wanted to give it a go. Deeply, deeply disappointing!

Great caramel latte at a very competitive price, the customer service was also superb. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Lyme Regis who fancies a warm coffee on those chillier days ☕️

An amazing place in Lyme Regis, offering fantastic dishes, daily specials and cocktail happy hours both in the restaurant and in the cocktail lounge downstairs. The staff are so friendly and welcoming! The moules mariniere were delicious (and the Guinness and bacon alternative to mariniere sauce smelled amazing). Highly recommend the steak special and the sly mai tai cocktail, though this is one of those places you go to and its difficult to choose what to have because everything looks and smells so amazing! Would go back to Lyme Regis just to visit this place again!

Absolutely brilliant. Completely gluten free fish and chips for all. Located on the seafront and a very special restaurant for the ‘tricky to please’ diners when it comes to gluten. A fabulous way to spend first times. Thanks for a fab afternoon away from the city to the The Lyme Bay and especially thanks to Magenta. : )

My first time in Lyme Regis, and I can only say that after visiting the Lyme Bay it won’t be my last. The food was fantastic. Cocktails equally so.The staff were attentive and charming. The whole experience was incredible value for money, if I had any feedback for the Lyme Bay it would be you are underselling yourselves. You could easily charge a far greater price for the service you offer.Thank you for a wonderful evening.

Such a wonderful experience. Fresh catch of the day, great ambience, and lovely, lovely service. Most definitely a gem of Lyme Regis.

Very busy today but still got a table and had a wonderful lunch. Service was brilliant, as always, and the food was to its usual high standard. Best place to eat by the seaside by far.

Brilliant little restaurant which never disappoints. ?

Great coffee stop near the centre & beach. Plenty of atmosphere & style.

Unrivalled hospitality. We were sat outside under the covered verandah waiting for a table to come free (we hadn't booked) and as it was a but chilly we were given hot water bottles. Once we got inside the food and service were fantastic. Will definitely go back, but will book next time!

Honesty can’t rate this place highly enough - our second visit in the last twelve months today upon which we found the haddock smokie to be an outstanding choice within the very varied and enticing menu, simply delicious - and enjoyed on the outside terrace with a view of the Cobb made this a very memorable occasion on an otherwise overcast grey February weekday, the combination of rich creamy sauce, cherry tomato, meaty portion of fish, topped with cheese and spring onion with a garnish of watercress is hard to better. I would recommend a visit if only for this tasty treat alone. 10/10

Rude, abrupt and arrogant reception shouted across the restaurant as we went in to get coffee.A place these locals will never try to visit again!
