Ohh we loved our visit to this place. They get customer service and you feel as if you are in safe hands as soon as you enter. You can relax in the knowledge that they have got you and you know you are going to be well looked after. The customer service is awesome - best we've seen. They know that the star of the show is the food and enthusiastically serve and celebrate it.\\n\\nWe had the sharing seafood platter with a glass of Lyme Bay Shoreline sat outside on a gorgeous sunny afternoon. Luscious lemon ice cream and a citrus tart complete with birthday candle (so thoughtful) rounded off a gorgeous lunch.\\n\\nIt was perfect. Go there.

This is totally our favourite place in Lyme Regis. The food as always was exceptional - we had sea bream and lobster, and matched with yummy wine. The service was fantastic, they made us feel very welcomed and very special. Thanks for such a fab night - we will be back soon!

Fantastic meal last night. I had the Bream which was the biggest juiciest tastiest piece of fish I’ve ever had. My partner has steak which was also delicious. A fantastic chef here! And the staff very friendly too. Gemma who served us was so professional and so friendly and was the same with all other diners. A credit to the restaurant. Thoroughly recommend but you need to book early!!

End of holiday treat and a treat it was. Superb food and excellent local wine that left my wife very happy she chose to eat here. That staff were great and even cooked my youngest daughter fish and chips even though it wasn’t on the menu. Highly recommended and can’t wait to come back.

We came to Millside for dinner on our last night in Lyme Regis and definitely saved the best for last. We loved everything - the food, the service, the wine, the ambience. We left on a complete high! I also particularly liked that the children's menu was a proper menu, and not just basic junk food (the mussels were for my 5 year old).

For our main course we both had fish dishes which were obviously very fresh and cooked to perfection.\\n\\nWe really appreciated the attentive but relaxed and friendly service.\\n\\nHighly recommended but book in advance, the waiting list for dinner was about a month when we were there in mid-September

A lovely lunch! Booked ahead via email which was easy and worth doing. Lovely venue. Seating hostess extremely pleasant and a great advert for you. Went specifically for the lobster. Two reasons for deducting a star....one was lobster price had gone up on the day due to colder weather thus price increases (bit confused as we are having September heatwave?) And second was lobster had a lot of dressing that I scraped quite a bit off (it overpowered the sweetness of the lobster meat which is worth tasting and enjoying). Other than that it was lovely! As a solo diner felt very comfortable. Thankyou. Will definitely come back and recommend!

This was our best meal whilst we stayed in Lyme Regis! Fantastic menu, food and service. Located close to the water mill it was nice being amongst the creative quarter of the town. The food was fresh and delicious. If you are planning on going then you need to book in order to ensure you get a spot!

We could see why it won the restaurant of the year - the staff were friendly, professional, and full of recommendations, the location and place itself is beautiful; and the food was fresh and delicious. Simply THE best seafood restaurant we have ever visited. The lobster was huge, super fresh and cooked to absolute perfection. My other half enjoyed the whole cracked crab for the first time and he thoroughly enjoyed it too! The staff were super attentive and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Literally cannot fault this place! I would give more than 5 stars if I could.

Very welcoming owners, top quality food and excellent service. Enjoyed an evening meal on a Saturday night four adults and two children. The owner even went out to the nearby microbrewery to get in some special local beers for us whole we looked at the menu. Highly recommend the crab salad starter. Will definitely come back next time we are in Lyme Regis.
