Went in for a breakfast only, it was fine. £9.99 gets you a buffet breakfast with all the trimmings for a full english. It's a help yourself affair, so fill up with what you need (even though the plates are very small, think vertical, rather than horizontal). Tea, coffee, juices and all that shizzle to quench that thirst. Clean and tidy restaurant and staff to assist if necessary (staff with a smile was hard to find though). As kids eat for free, there was an abundance of children in for their breakfast, even on a school day. All in all, the breakfast experience suited my needs!!

You get what you pay for. Not much choice on the sweet menu on the ordinary menu. Cannot pick a sweet from the Christmas menu, even if you want to pay the difference. When we booked, we put what dietary requirements we wanted. They don't check it out. We have to tell someone. I still ended up with something I do not eat.Dietary restrictions: As above. It's not checked out after we stipulated what the requirements are and what we wanted instead.

Amazing all you can eat breakfast... slightly overdone but then I always do. Exceptional service by scarlett the waitress who made our stay very welcoming.

Absolutely terrible service, with a table reserved for 1pm, food didn’t arrive until 2:10. Decided to wait for table to be cleared and have dessert, but after nothing happening for half an hour, we decide to just leave gone 3pm. 2hrs with two under 4’s and no dessert.

Nice food. Had to wait for a table but then we didn't book and it's Christmas. Staff a bit stretched but when it came it was good.

Food is okay, fairly priced, Christmas menu is great, I really enjoyed dessert, however waiting times are bit long. Around 30-40 mins for a starter, another 30-40 for main.

Maybe went on an off day but never had such slow service as anywhere else. Waited ages for the food to arrive only for it to be luke warm at best. Unfortunately won't be returning again.

First visit after a few years. Didn't disappoint excellent service. We had fish and chips the fish extra large and tasty. Also had a spicy chicken sandwich which was gougons wasn't that spicy, coleslaw and chips. The chips were excellent. We throughly enjoyed it.Our drinks were lime and soda.A cheap lunch that was better than our usual place. We will be back. Thank you.Parking: Don't forget to sign in on the screen before dinning.

Went in for an evening meal, shown to a table with no word of any delays. Waited a while for drinks order to be taken no one showed, felt from general vibe service would be slow so went somewhere else.

There was a large group of people there with children but refreshingly well behaved, but it is a family restaurant so we would have been fine anyway (we've brought up 2 ourselves). Friendly waiters and tasty food. Nice decor and layout.

Service was alright, but when we went up to the bar we were greeted with a “Yeah?” which is pretty unprofessional. As my dad is gluten free we ordered a GF big stack burger and when it arrived it was taken away again after 2 minutes because the “chef wanted to see it”, and it came back after being the wrong burger as it was a festive stack burger and not a big stack burger. Food was cold, and some of the staff were quite unprofessional. We were here with a group of about 10 and everyone said their food was cold and not very pleasant.Overall, I don’t think we will be returning here again and I advise that if you don’t like cold food, you don’t either.

Table table. Holes Bay, Poole. Knowing we were visiting the area I had booked this restaurant a week previous. When my drink arrived the lime slice looked like it had been cut a week ago. I was told it was freeze dried and it was that colour because it had been in the drink. Put me off as it looked as if it had gone off. Wait for meal horrendous. Was there 1 hour no food. Made to feel it was our fault as we were told we came at the wrong time because they had two big tables. If that were the case, why take our reservation,? Twice told it's nearly ready and it's being plated now. By now another 10 minutes after being told it's just being plated. They came and apologised said it's just finishing being plated and offered a free drink. Which we accepted. Another 10 minutes and the food appeared. Other customers who had come in after us, got their starters within 10 minutes, whilst we were just left without. Ordered a sweet which again took a while to appear. By this time the section we were in was nearly empty. Customers who had come in after us had all been served and gone. We were there for nearly 3 hours and only had a drink and 2 courses. Really bad. Will I eat here again when in the area, no I have completed an e-mail survey which asked the question, what was good about your visit, but nowhere asked what was bad. This is the only reason for this review as I could not express this on the survey. Will I be contacted, I doubt it

Very understaffed, the food was slow to come out and the quality varied quite a bit. Somehow three of the same dish ordered had different items.

I went here for several times before for both lunch and dinner, and I got no complaints at all, everything is superb and amazing. The food and the service are all wonderful, the staffs are friendly and helpful. But I’m here to write about the team who work on Saturday, 14 October 2023, especially Caz, the manager. Thank you so much to Caz and her team, for the wonderful wedding decorations and food, for helping me cutting the wedding cake and offer them to everyone, for always checking to make sure the food is enough, and for checking on us non-stop.And for one and only Caz, thank you for the honey lemon water you made for me after the wedding, that help my throat so much. And thank you for the card and the souvenirs as well. They have a special place in my home.I was there for my wedding lunch with more or less 60 people including kids and toddler. All the foods are ready when we get there, and everything is really delicious, all of my guests love that.I highly recommend you have wedding lunch/dinner here, especially if you get married at The Poole Guildhall. The location isn’t far from the guildhall, about 5-10 mins driving. And this restaurant is located next to the Premier Inn Holes Bay as well. So you can get ready in the morning at hotel, get married, have your wedding reception, and walk back to the hotel to rest. They also have plenty of parking space, so, don’t worry. All of my guests doesn’t have any problem finding a parking spot. So, I 100% recommend this restaurant for wedding or any other events. And please make sure to talk to Caz and trust her. She just knows what she needs to do, and help you get rid of the unnecessary stress. If you want to have an event here, they have 3 types of buffet you can choose, and some additional menu such as unlimited tea&coffee, fruits, or desserts that you can add to your buffet choice.I will definitely come back soon! For lunch/dinner, I recommend spicy chicken wings, garlic & herb mushrooms, smothered chicken, 8oz sirloin steak top with BBQ sauce and mozzarella & cheddar.Kid-friendliness: They provide colouring sheets and crayon for children, they also have dolls claw machine. Their kids menu is definitely worth to try.Wheelchair accessibility: My dad use wheelchair and find it easy to move around.
