This is a really interesting place. We went for breakfast as random visitors rather than adventure seekers. We were 4 adults and one teenager. The food was great, with what I consider to be generous portions. There's a super relaxed vibe and so I think it would be a good place to bring any number of noisy children without anyone being offended.

A lovely warm cafe, had a great atmosphere. The food was delicious and was good quality, we had the full English Breakfast - very filling. Definitely worth a visit.

We all had the FE breakfast. Was spot on. Coffee could have been better(Not sure if it was maybe the milk on the turn...?)But the staff and food were lovely. Thank you ladies.

There could have been more berries on the pancakes. Way more. They used to do eggs with salmon but it's not a thing anymore. Bit disappointing. Mocha was disgustingly sweet, unfishable for me, which is why it's 3 stars.

Just had the best full english breakfast I've had in years! Plus, they do them all day long. A gem of a place!! And lovely friendly staff as well. Please never change!

I booked a table for 15 people for lunch. The cafe was incredibly helpful and took all our orders in advance and had the food ready when we arrived. The food was excellent and they provided excellent vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options. The service was fast, it was good value and it was a great venue for a large group as we could all sit together on large tables. I'd definitely recommend it for a group booking.

Having bought tickets for the D-Day museum over the road, we arrived just after 10.30 not sure about what was on the menu. We were pleased to see breakfast still available. We ordered a breakfast bap and a breakfast wrap and we’re told there was a 35 minute wait for food. Being in no hurry we waited. The coffee was really nice and our food appeared just over 20 minutes later! There was a 10% discount when we showed our entry ticket! Both the bap and the wrap were delicious and we will return when we next visit Portland Thank you ?

3 of us went for breakfast, the counter staff were very friendly. We ordered breakfast 1 turned up without its toast 2 sets of toast arrived with no breakfast, then another breakfast arrived after 20 minutes I complained that my food had not turned up. The cook was very rude, put it down with no apology then when my friend asked for his toast he was told to "hold on". I asked for my money back and left. Shocking service and experience

Possibly the nicest breakfast I have had. Really nice food, kid friendly with a little play area in the corner. So nice we went back for dinner the next day and this also didn’t disappoint.
