We had the most amazing takeaway from the Golden Island last night, hot and cooked to perfection. But then again we have lived here for years and this has always been the case.
The worst crispy chilli beef and vermicelli ever. Must be different cook as used to be very nice

i have brought this up a few years back the food is cold only warm not hot and it is tastless the chicken is wierd.the drive to my house is only 40seconds from takeway but luke warmgolden island is way better tastes better and it is hoti think they do one bit put it under heat lamps for ages never again am i useing this place.they clearley dont look at reviews

Ordered Barbecued spare ribs and chips to be collected felt a bit dubious when I was told 10 minutes, sure enough the ribs were tasteless tough and stringy as they had probably been cooked the day before, the barbecue sauce was like coloured water and the chips were not freshly cooked either. All in all another Portland food outlet that will not receive my custom again. When will they learn ?
