Fantastic food and efficient service, good price point only let down by condiments in nasty plastic wrapping, brown sauce hard to get in to... Hopefully they will bring condiments up to the standard of the food

Only an hour or so before closing so not many people around. Great view whilst I enjoyed my sandwich and glass of wine!

The premises is clean and comfortable. A really great situation overlooking the marina. We were told the menu was on the board on the wall which was fine. We chose fish and chips and were told there was no fish. My friend then said he would have macaroni cheese and was told it wasn't available. There was pie of the day on the board but no pies were available! How difficult can it be to remove items from the board that aren't available? To be fair the food we had was ok but the whole place gave the impression of poor organisation and an uncaring attitude.

Terrible customer service. Asked for lunch menu, got shouted at “it’s on the blackboard”. Won’t be returning.

The new menu, chilli squid entree and pan fried hake with seasonal vegetables were excellent, thank you for the attentive service

Beautiful setting and interior done perfectly, friendly staff. Great location overlooking the marina. Could be perfect but they need some barista training. We had 3 flat white coffees, each one was different and none of them were a flat white. If they made good coffee then they would do well and have returning customers.

I’m in a minority, mildly allergic to dogs but get that everywhere is dog friendly so I tolerate. I’ve been to The Kitchen before and it’s been fine but this time the place stank of dogs and there was dog hair visible on the floors which I didn’t see until I’d ordered, paid and sat down. My husband had a full English which was fine. I had scrambled eggs and smoked salmon. £10 for one slice of toast, some ok eggs and 2 small slices of smoked salmon? Overpriced! Didn’t hang around as my eyes started to itch. So overall, disappointing for me, fine if you’re one of the dog mad majority.

I never leave a bad review, not very welcoming and friendly. Had a sausage roll that was overpriced and a coffee and I couldn’t eat it as tasted awful.

Great place to go, the food, staff and ambience just right, and being dog friendly makes it just perfect. They go out of their way to get you what you want, if they have it..
Completely ridiculous bad service massively overpriced 2 bacon and sausage baps cost me £13.90 and that was 1 sausage per bap and a poor quality sausage at that the worst breakfast I have had and at that price I will never be going back the burger van round the corner is much better quality and value (musheys) I would not recommend going there at all

Not a great experience ? We waited over an hour & was overcharged for the order! Our 2 teas were half full. Eggs Benedict- only ONE egg, muffin not toasted and hollandaise sauce was cold. Large breakfast ordered- regular given which was burnt and over cooked. Unfortunately we won’t be returning. Really disappointing….

Where to start? if I could give it less that 1 star I would this place dosent deserve a star rating at all,THE CHEF - You need to sort your chef out. The way he was speaking to a member of staff was absolutely disgusting, you could hear it all through the small cafe, I am not surprised that the most frendly member of staff, you probably will ever have walked out I didn’t get her name (the lady with grey hair.)THE MANAGER / OWNER or whoever she was was not much help anayway in the situation anyway,DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE

The perfect place to grab a beer (Beaver Town’s Neck Oil) and a VERY yummy fish finger sandwich after a mornings SCUBA diving.
