A very comfortable stay indeed, I felt spoilt!!The surroundings from my beautiful bedroom to the lovely garden with full size trees & even unspoilt nature area right at the bottom with very nice views.What a breakfast, with homemade yogurt and jams, not to mention the full English all served in a dining room bathed in light, it was also nice to see your breakfast cooked infront of you. A very relaxed atmosphere.Many Thanks to Mike & Sally!!I do hope you managed to finish mowing the whole of the lawn Mike ?

A good alternative to the town’s hotels. Breakfast was ok although not actually to our liking. Room was clean and comfortable. Some exterior noise as the property is situated on a busy roundabout. Generally comfortable.

My wife and I stayed here with Mike and Sally for a couple of nights back in July this year. We had a lovely stay, excellent room, great breakfast and lovely hosts. This establishment is located just a short walk from the town centre and famous Gold Hill and is also ideally situated for touring the local area. We hope to get the opportunity to return soon

Good location easy to get to short walk to town center although on a roundabout there was no road noise and we had a great nights sleep everything was perfectly clean the room was large with a big bathroom and shower breakfast was lovely and very filling plenty to eat the owners were easy going and very helpful and there was plenty of parking onsite .

Extremely welcoming hosts who go out of their way to make you feel at home.We were in Room 1, which was wonderful, with a comfortable king-sized bed. It was also very quiet, meaning that we had a wonderful night's sleep.The freshly-cooked breakfast was great, as was the coffee.It is a very pleasant, short, walk into Shaftesbury.Some advice:1) The property is next to a roundabout, but clearly marked with off-road ample parking. If you miss it, just go back to the roundabout and look again.2) Visit Gold Hill, home of the famous Hovis advert.3) Find a restaurant before travelling, and pre-book it to avoid disappointment.4) Do try San Tonino Italian Restaurant, housed inside a former church. It is wonderful.

We stayed 2 nights when visiting the Great Dorset steam fair , everything was perfect. Warm welcome, spotlessly room with fridge, tea coffee a massive bathroom and comfortable bed. Breakfast was one of the best I have ever had .Look no further if you appreciate quality.

Thank you Mike and Sally for a wonderful stay, friendly meet and greet, we arrived early but Mike let us leave the car on the drive. Great info given on places to eat and drink in the town etc. The B&B is on a busy road next to a roundabout so care is needed when crossing as this is the way to the centre, which only takes 10 minutes to walk to. Our room was huge with a huge bed, everything you could need from fresh milk to a dyson fan, tastefully decorated, modern with beautiful soft furnishings. Mike is a chef, needless to say the breakfast was fabulous with so much choice. Once again on departure we were ok to leave our car on the drive for a few hours. We would recommend this B&B just be aware of the traffic noise from your room.

From the moment we were met at the door to when we said goodbye, our hosts couldn't have done more. Excellent standard of accommodation, food and local tourist advice. Easy on site park and a short walk into Shaftesbury. We highly recommend 3 Ivy Cross and would definitely stay again. Little extras like the fresh milk in the room fridge and a fan in the bedroom make such a difference. Mike's chef experience means the breakfasts are first class. The homemade yoghurt and fruit pots were delicious and the fruit juices and coffee were also excellent. Best wishes to you Mike and Sally. You've created somewhere very special. If only we could have stayed longer to sit in your lovely garden.
