Lovely country guesthouse in a beautiful location. FRiendly reception, nice spacious room, good bathroom. Dinner was delicious, as was the cooked breakfast. Lovely old pub with local gins and ciders. Travelling with my daughter. We enjoyed our stay very much, Shame about the rain..... Tip: sturdy handrails in the bath. Being slightly disabled and of a ripe age, it is my fear to slip and fall in the bath.

We stopped overnight in our motorhome. The staff were very welcoming and the food was very reasonable and tasty. Good selection of beers. Will definitely visit again ?

What a great country pub.We stayed for three nights and enjoyed every minute. The staff and locals are friendly and welcoming. The food is particularly great, very tasty, ample portions and plenty of choice. The sticky toffee pudding made by the young apprentice chef is particularly excellent - even though I don’t usually usually eat puddings, ate half of my wife's, much to her annoyance ?Breakfasts has lots of tasty choices. The Sunday night pizzas are also great. The bar has a wide choice of drinks and the room we had was large and comfortable.Without doubt next time we're in the area, this will be our first choice of place to stay.5 stars all round.

A proper, proper pub. Knows what it is, and does it excellently. No pretentiousness, and quite different to some of the more ‘gastro’ pubs nearby. Lovely setting in the heart of Semley. We had a good, filling meal before a long drive home!

Randomly just looked at Google and saw I left a review when my mate and I came in and got blitzed. I didn't add any reason why i rated it so high so I'm doing it now. Was an amazing night they had a karaoke. Staff are very attentive and didnt mind chatting with us when we got bored abusing everyone's ears with karaoke. We ordered steak which was just amazing. Definitely can't wait until i find my self back up semley for another visit. <3

Travelling to our holiday destination we saw signs for the Bennett Arms from the A303. A little persistence is needed but it is well worth it! We were greeted in a very friendly manner and had a fish platter for lunch which was really nice, homemade chips as well. We were going to book and stay don our way home but sadly they were fully booked Well done to you all, a really nice experience

After going left numerous times my satnav abandoned me so I had to ring to ask the way and Michelle said she would stand at the door and look out for me...that was the start of a welcoming nights stay. Thanks

I am reviewing the restaurant separately to the accommodation. We had dinner here once. I had steak & kidney pie. It was superb! definitely home cooked & the best I've ever had. My wife & daughter enjoyed their selection as well.

Good food & beer. Nice pub in rural location, food was good pub food, nothing really fancy, but nice, homemade food, with proper pies (pastry all the way around!). Good selection of CAMRA real ales.
