We stayed at The Coppleridge during the first weekend of December. This particular weekend was very cold and we were looking forward to getting to our room to warm up and be cosy with our 3 children. Very disappointed to discover the room was freezing cold, turned the thermostat up and went for food in the hope it would warm up. Told the gentleman serving in the pub how cold it was in our room. The room was still freezing when we returned after food and we were unable to bath our children that night or the following morning as it was so cold! However, the food at the pub was delicious as was the breakfast both mornings. We had hoped to see someone at breakfast to say how cold it had been during the night but only the chef was about. It was a lot warmer though when we returned on the Saturday night. Good location, good value for money, delicious food just a shame it was so cold!Rooms: Very clean, basic just what we needed but very very cold.

total rip off. It has taken this long to write as I wanted to say how we all felt without anger. My wife mum had passed away and we decided to have the wake there nothing fancy just sandwiches and cake. They couldn't even get that right totally un in pressed the last thing they could do for their mum, and the coppleridge couldn't even do what was asked. when we complained, they dismissed it as if it was nothing. if you are planning an event, I would go somewhere else totally disgusting.

Pretty pub, but why on EARTH are your disabled toilets down a flight of stairs?

This is a fairly average pub in a nice countryside setting ,It’s not modern or trendy & the dining room is basic .It has a garden & lots of parking spaces. Eaten here 4 times & the fish & chips ( not something I would have very often) was one of the best I’d had eaten in a while .The fish was cooked in a cider batter ? It was light & crispy so ideal if you don’t eat wheat , chips were not overly greasy & they make their own mushy vibrant green peas & their own tartare sauce. Very good! One slight negative was when my sons went there for a beer at 9:30 pm they were turned away & told it was too late to serve them ! I was very surprised & disappointed that as the bar was already very busy, the staff couldn’t have accommodated them . They are early 20’s so did not feel able to be more insistent . I also checked the website & it said they closed @ 10pm so there was no excuse really .

Rustige locatie. Nette kamers. Geweldig ontvangst. Hartelijke bediening tijdens het ontbijt en de diners. Prima uitvalsbasis voor o.a. shaftesbury, Salisbury, Stonehenge en Stourhead.

Food was OK...Tables were filthy and to be honest the staff looked very unhappy..I didn't find it a welcoming venue.

Historic inn in a great country location. The room was large and clean with bath and shower. Food and drink excellent and the staff friendly and helpful. Good value. Recommended!

Beautiful pub. Great service and lovely garden to sit outside in the sunshine and admire the beautiful views. Will be back for sure.

Pricey for what you get. No decent beers on, (two were off) service charge made though service was indifferent. A bit run down and rambling place. In need of some tlc

Love the place. Rooms are big and very comfortable. Bathroom is huge with plenty of hot water and a nice powerful shower, but also has a separate bath. The bed is big and comfortable enough to give a great night's sleep, the very quiet area helps too.Breakfast caters for everyone with a traditional full English or any combination of cereals, toast or just tea and coffee.Staff are very nice.We also had an evening meal in the restaurant and were impressed with the food.We shall definitely return.
