Had food order wrong,then rushed it,pizza overloaded and soggy,,,annoying that they checked the order twice,husband had Calzone, which was burnt on top,but still was served.

We went to this restaurant as it has been recommended to us. We enjoyed it. The food was great and so was the service. It was a very busy night, great atmosphere and we had great time with our friends.

This place used to be a great local restaurant but having had various improvements made, they have hiked their prices up and it is not worth the extra. To do it just before Christmas is greedy and a plate of pasta is not worth what they charge. They will find that the people who keep them ticking over week after week will go much less so this is shortsighted. Shame.

Having booked this venue for a birthday meal after hearing good things about it, we were clearly not impressed. Made a booking for 7, for family of 4, arrived on time. Place looked and sounded busy, that can be a positive, happy place happy customers. Met and shown to our table, then waited around 15mins to be served. Drinks ordered and waiter brought wrong wine choice, we ordered red and he brought white? Wine changed but not the glasses. Next 10 mins, another waiter took or meal order. 4 starters 4 mains. Lovely Jubbley, won’t be long, so we thought. After about 40mins from meal order, I made enquiry as to how much longer we would be waiting for our starters. Not long now he explained, we are very busy tonight and we are under staff, there’s only two of us he said. Ok we thought, we Can appreciate that. Next thing 4 main meals arrive and one of the meals was one we did not order. By this time almost an hour had passed and a very hungry family. I wanted to leave as I asked where our starters were only to be told, we didn’t order any??? ??. What a joke. I wanted to leave and pay for the drinks but decided to stay, after much consideration of time, we ate the meals that we ordered, re ordered my daughter’s meal then left. A very disappointed evening had, spoilt by poor staffing, will need serious consideration to visiting again. Food that we finally had was ok but nothing special.

Had a really lovely evening with the family. Started off with Arancini and Bruchetta to share. Kids then had pasta whilst we had a calzone and a classic pizza. Food was excellent. Service also really good and the restaurant was busy so a nice atmosphere throughout. Best restaurant in Sherborne with kids.
