“Exceptional place with delicious quiches - choice of two, which we had for lunch with salad and pan fried potatoes. The quiches were made with GF pastry which was great for me, being gluten intolerant - a rare treat. Very friendly and welcoming, good service and seems to be popular with locals and visitors alike.”

“We went for breakfast last weekend, wanted somewhere dogs were welcome, they certainly were here, even had their own menu, we chose to sit in the courtyard but dogs are more than welcome inside The cooked breakfast was lovely as were the staff”

“Friendly staff and a wonderful old country pub. The place has obviously been tastefully renovated, it's clean and comfortable. The food is fresh and good quality, and the chocolate fudge cake is probably the best I've ever had! Well priced and well worth a visit!”

“As always, friendly, efficient and very welcoming. Comfortable sofas and easy chairs as well as tables and chairs for eating at. Some had been reserved in advance. Great decaf coffee (& lovely mince pies - thank you!) And the sun streaming through the conservatory roof - though cannot promise that every time!”

“Beautiful location. Staff were efficient friendly and helpful. Rooms were great everything worked as it should. The building is quite old so if your looking for chic this isn't it. The rooms were comfortable and warm with quality mattress and bed linen. Foid here was good and the service was great. Everyone was friendly. The area is pretty. The Swan is somewhere I would definitely go to again”

“Great little pub a mate and I stumbled across, fantastic selection of beers and ciders. We haven’t eaten here yet but the menu looked excellent and the place had a great “Pub” feel to it. Will definitely be returning.”
