Four of us had a great meal here last night. We knew that the new manager was taking over so expected a bit of disruption. As it happens, the only negative was that the service was slow due to there only being one waiter, but he was efficient, friendly and apologetic. The food was excellent, hot and freshly made and we took our own wine which is a big saving. We had poppadoms, starters and main courses and the total bill was £89 which we thought was very reasonable.By the end of the evening the new manager had arrived with the new card machine, so we could pay by card or cash. We'll definitely be going back.

Dear owner/proprietorOrder placed at 5.15pm Wednesday 28/2/2024, delivery confirmed for 5.55pm by restaurant, called restaurant 6.15pm only to be told driver is on his way. I called the restaurant at 6.45pm to cancel the order. Delivery driver arrived at 6.55pm when I told him the order had been cancelled due to the time taken and sent away.Called the restaurant again and confirmed the driver had been sent away, the restaurant representative informed me that the owner/proprietor will give me a call on the mobile that we had made the calls on.Needless to say this call hasn’t been made.FYI, the driver wasn’t to blame he was at his main work place until 6.00pm which the restaurant new about so clearly knew and lied to me about the delivery time.Disgusting service with a total lack of ownership which will be shared with local residents.RegardsTerry Howells

Whilst the food isn’t bad (though my starter was only warm at best) the service lets this restaurant down unfortunately. The staff don’t engage with their customers at all, other than to take your order, deliver said order and clear the plates. I don’t want to be constantly in conversation with them but it would be nice if they showed some interest beyond the standard ‘is everything all right’ question. It’s a bring your own alcohol restaurant but invariably you have to ask for glasses. And if you think you might like a sweet, get your request in very quickly following your main, otherwise your bill will arrived by the time you’ve thought about it! The lack of other seated customers did have an effect on the atmosphere, but the takeaway side is obviously doing well. It’s a shame as this place used to have quite a buzz.

We have always had some excellent food from here in the past, but we haven't been here for a while. So we were looking forward to our takeaway last night but ended up very disappointed. Service was below average as was the food. Has this restaurant changed hands?

The most disgusting food I have ever eaten. No flavour, no taste, cold, overly priced and the most ridiculously small portions possible. I cannot believe this restaurant is still trading. We ordered a salmon tikka, as a main, it came out with 3 pieces of tiny salmon fish—that was 14 pounds. We ordered the rest and it was absolutely horrible. The staff were quite cocky and rude. Never will be coming here again. I will be reporting this Restsurant to trading standards too. Just a warning: never come here.

Disappointing. We had a takeaway for two people, chicken tikka masala, chicken tikka balti, pilau rice, naan. Other than the chicken being tender, the rest of the meal was quite bland, both mains lacking any real flavour.

We have a take away from this restaurant very regularly. The food is always delicious. Delivered promptly and always hot. My favourite weekly treat.
So ordered for 7 they called and said can't delivered to 7.30 which was fine called twice since now 8.10and still waiting so 8.15 it turned up

We went yesterday four of us.The restaurant manager called sami great sense of humour.we had a conversation about cricket.he showed us so many pictures from last World Cup.food was delicious.Great atmosphere.10 out of 10.Definitely recommend the restaurant.

Booked a table for a family get together we turned up early but was no problem . Lovely friendly welcome snd we were seated promptly . No long wait for food to which was delicious . We took our own alcohol and were quickly given glasses . Asked for the bill only to be told that they do mot accept card and that there was a sign on the main entrance stating this . I did not see in when entering so maybe if i was told this ehen booking our table o could of made sure that i had some cash on me . Not very good when you have to walk to the next paypoint especially when all the atms have gone now in town , thank god for the one stop convenience store
