This pretty cafe was buzzing with life when I walked in on a Wednesday afternoon. Mouthwatering cakes and and sandwiches accompanied with friendly and helpful staff. Would recommend!

Wonderful friendly café. Highly recommend the waffles, huge portions, and homemade cakes. The tea for two easily gave 3 cups each, and all the food and drinks were really good value for money. The proprietor was lovely and we didn’t feel rushed even though we were nearing closing time. Nothing was too much trouble, would highly recommend a visit.

Have not been to Sturminster for some years and had to go to a shop here today. We found this lovely place for lunch, was an lovely lunch of Soup, Sandwiches and Sausage Roll, staff were helpful and friendly, food was delicious. Will return again one day.

Visited Saturday 23/09/23 to meet up with some friends for lunch. Managed to get a table, really pretty little cafe, cosy seating. Decent menu, lovely friendly welcoming staff who genuinely appreciate your custom.We had jacket potatoes and quiches.Recommended and would return.
Popped into the Sweet Pea for breakfast on Saturday morning as we were visiting for a classic car show. It was quite busy, but we were soon found a table and our order taken. Small English for me and a vegetarian option for my wife. Very quick service and friendly hospitality from the owner. We will definitely look forward to visiting again on the first Saturday of each month ?
