Nice pub, typical pub food, had brown toasted beef sandwich/sliced tomato/pickle/mustard, with chips ,cost £9.45. Had a pint of cider, cost £5.25.

Really good venue. There is a great ambience in the Monmouth Ash, it is a very comfortable place to visit. The food is good and the staff were amazing. Good beer options complete the package. Well worth a visit.

Lovely food, amazing mix of ages socialising. Music was interesting and relaxing. The staff were so accommodating with my temporary back pain too -at 54 you want to get to an accessible loo!The only slight irritation was the visibility of the hedge on the right as we left the car park

Went on a wednesday evening for my dads birthday and the service was absolutely awful. Never came to our table to take any food or drinks order and the staff were so incompetent they put whiskey in my mothers spiced rum. After 40 minutes of waiting we left and when my father tried to complain about the service, the manager ignored him and stuck his head in the sand. This is just a shame as it has always been a decent pub but has seemingly been brought down due to poor management.

We have been going to The Monmouth Ash for many years. It has really changed!!Tonight was the worst ever!!!Really loud singer and terrible karaoke. Everybody was finding it difficult having a conversation and was willing it to take a break.!!!Very disappointed the way it is going.

Just went for a meal with the family and had the burger, it was absolutely delicious..The service was fantastic..
Breaded mushrooms a tad overdone, canneloni very very hot.Went on 33% off offer, which was worth it, otherwise overpriced.Very loud the night we went due to pub quiz.

Great place for drinks with friends, lots of drinks to choose from, plus some yummy rum cocktails. Good atmosphere, didn't eat, so can't

Lovely pub, friendly staff, starter was great, however when we asked for medium well steaks (and asked for it to be cooked more twice) it was still bloody and rare..staff were very understanding and didnt charge us for the main which was appreciated, still left us feeling a bit disappointed, wouldn't recommend steak unless you like your meat dripping in blood and still mooing

Rude staff again? What’s going on Hall & Woodhouse. I thought they were bad in the Crown Blandford? But a whole new level at The Monmouth
