“Sunday roast was excellent. Plenty of choice of meat and veg and cooked to a good standard. The pub was full of military personnel as it was armistice Sunday. All was fine with a good atmosphere with Verwood Concert Brass providing suitable music but then they were replaced with a disco which provided decent appropriate music but the volume was so loud that it was distorted and everyone had to shout at each other if conversation was wanted.Parking: Adjacent to Morrisons so you can use their car park with well over 100 spaces”

“Friendly & welcoming staff.All our food was very nice bar the mac 'n cheese, which was heavy on breadcrumbs, medium on macaroni, and almost no cheese!But, staff took that off the bill unrequested and our other food (beef burger and fish & chips) was very good. Side order of onion rings was the biggest portion I have ever seen/had!Well worth going.Kid-friendliness: Children seemed to be welcome.Parking: Pub car park round the back.”
