Rubbish experience tonight, chips not a large more a small full of small hard bits, they was cold by the time we was home and we live 2 mins away. Definitely not worth the money, second time with this same issue, was giving them the benefit of the doubt but won't return anymore.

Felt very expensive, particualrly given the small portion sizes. Some chips were under cooked. We went round the corner and saw the other chippie had a massive queue so will try our luck there next time.

Tried to phone order through as the website wouldn't play ball. Eventually someone picked up the phone and told me they were to busy to take a phone order in an abrupt manner.Long Johns has always been my choice for many years but not no more!Manners cost nothing, but loss of business does!

I paid £10 for a small fish and chips, a very expensive cost for a very average fish and chips. There are three other places in the area where I get fish and chips and I would pick them over Long Johns. No salt and vinegar available also which was a let down and the staff were very disengaging. Not a bad taste, just no where near as good as others. Premier ticket price for League 1 standard product.

Have been staying at the Sandford Holiday park and this fish bar was a quick 10mins drive from our accommodation. Decided to have a fish supper and wasn't disappointed. The fish on our visit was freshly cooked and the staff were pleasant. Throughly reccomend this establishment if you are in the same position as us.

Amazing food and great service! We phoned through a big group order, didn’t have to wait long and everyone loved what they had - fish and chips, battered sausage and chicken burgers. Really friendly staff too definitely recommend!

Friendly, delicious, prompt!Phoned a big order (24 people!) 1.5 hrs in advance and it was not a problem for them! All ready on time and well priced! Was delicious, warm and crispy. Everyone in our party was dead pleased. The man even helped carry my order to the car and threw in a bottle of vinegar!

This is our local chippy but haven't been for a while. The fish was tasty but the chips were terrible. The portions have got smaller. Half were rock hard 'end bits' and inedible.

Just had another quick 'small fry' pea fritter and chips - both Long Johns and their partners Chipperies make the best pea fritters that taste great and hold their shape. But mainly my 5 stars are for the upbeat, positive fine young crew that are on this evening. Its a pleasure to be served by them. They are a credit to the business.

'Classic' fish and chips. Very friendly staff. Generous cheesy chips and lunchtime sausage special. Would recommend to tourists wanting the full chip shop experience.

Highly recommend this chippy, they were just closing and went out of their way to cook for me, the chips were 10/10 .... The staff were excellent in their customer service, and looked a good team, well done ?

We only had a bag of chips - a quick snack for lunch - and my friend doesn't like to eat in the street so we grabbed a seat. We were immediately asked to leave as "there would be a lot of builders coming in soon". The place was empty. How long would it take to eat a bag of chips? 10/10 for lack of hospitality. I will forever associate Wareham with this experience. Perhaps we met the grumpy manager mentioned by other reviewers. Not an experience to be repeated. So we ate our chips standing outside. And I apologised to my friend. Fortunately it wasn't raining.

We had the 2 small cod with large chips and it was excellent and such good value.
