The Italian Kitchen

We really enjoyed our visit to this modern bistro with Italian-inspired food. Food and service were excellent. We sat at a bar-style high table but were surprised at how comfortable it was, and it gave views out over the Wharf. A highlight of our time in Wareham.

DaruChini Indian Restaurant

Very good restaurant. First class food, first class service and all for a very good price. We were visiting whilst on holiday and will definitely come back here again when we are next in the area.

The Italian Bakery Wareham

Friendly staff, nice little shop. We had a rustica pizza, then a coffee and cake. Everything was delicious. Just a couple of tables outside, and bar style window seats inside. Bread looked amazing, although we didn't have any.

Halfway Inn Wareham

Awesome food and service at The Halfway. We really enjoyed the ambience of the pub whilst catching up with friends.

Highly recommended.

Also a big thank you to the owners for allowing us to overnight in our motorhome which was greatly appreciated.

Monsoon Indian Cuisine

Great place with good food - have visited twice now when visiting the area.\n\nNicely spiced and well cooked - enjoyed everything.\n\nSome good "Chef's specialties" dishes, and the others in my group enjoyed their food too.\n\nOnly minor niggle was, on the recent visit, was one of the owners got distracted talking to a regular / friend at the table opposite us, which delayed us asking for something.

Wareham Pizza and Kebab

Had a takeaway from here on Saturday Night. we had the meal for 2 which includes a 12 inch pepperoni pizza a portion of chips and a can of drink (I thought it was 2. but the boss gave me an extra 1 as I complained, it cant be a meal deal for 2 with only 1 can) but all in all a very good establishment. Food was good, service was good. We will be back. But I still wont be payong for an extra can with my meal deal for 2. :) keep up the good work.

Indiana Bovington

I recently ordered food online from Indiana and had a very satisfying experience. The food arrived fresh, warm, and well-packed. The quality and taste were really good, and you can tell they maintain good standards even for online orders. Delivery was on time and everything was neatly packed to avoid spills. Overall, I’m very happy with the service and food quality.

The Castle Inn

What an excellent pub this is. We went Friday lunchtime, not having booked, they were quite busy yet they were happy to take us in. The food we had was excellent. The gammon steak was superb. The atmosphere is lovely with the old stone floor giving plenty of character. The landlord and landlady were welcoming and put us at ease. Thanks.

The Kings Arms

10/10 An outstanding visit, made very welcome from the moment we arrived, and they happily accepted the dogs in the bar area of where we was given a lovely table by the window, service was outstanding, food all home made and very delicious, very attentive and even cooked up some sausages and provided some water for the dogs this kept us all very happy and overall very good value for money, will definitely be heading back here soon.

The Antelope Inn

Visited wareham for a week over Christmas and for us this was the best pub there. Great sports showing, great bar staff and very welcoming landlord and locals. Thanks guys, see you again soon. Elisa & Kieran ?

The Castle Inn, West Lulworth

Fantastic stay as part of a group of 8 for a friend's birthday. The location is great (even better out of season as it's nice and uncrowded!), rooms are lovely and the staff couldn't do enough for us. Dinner was excellent, as was breakfast the next morning - breakfast is cooked to order from a menu (no sad looking breakfast buffets here!). We had a such a great time, we're already planning a return trip for next year. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a cosy, welcoming break in a gorgeous location.

The Duke Of Wellington

We stumbled across this pub on our holiday, having just spent the day at nearby Monkey World. We were looking for somewhere to eat and wow the Duke of Wellington didn’t disappoint. We tucked into generously portioned roast beef dinners, while the children devoured chicken and chip basket meals. We were served promptly and professionally, by the friendly and welcoming staff. As a bonus there was live music going on with a small crowd creating a hip and joyous atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this pub for fantastic food, as well as to kick back with kind people.

Allstars Sports Bar & Cafe

We booked this to celebrate my Dad’s 70th and had about a 100 people attend; it felt such a lovely cosy and welcoming venue. Food, staff were both exceptional, couldn’t do enough for you and would highly recommend using them. They’re a credit to Wareham :). Thank you again.

The Salt Pig

Went to the Salt Pig in Swanage for a meal last night. The food is incredible. Highly recommend the madras (I had beef), lamb steak and the pork chop. Friendly staff and the finest local ingredients used.

The Drax Arms

Real nice pub, locals enjoying dinks at the bar and we were having a nice and tasty Chili con carne. Real quality and fresh pub food. Place was very clean and light, we understand there are new owners since beginning of last month. So nothing like the reviews from before August 2025, the new owners are really making a difference. Highly recommended!

Williams the Baker

We visited Williams Village Bakery Shop in Wool and were blown away by how lovely it was. The smell of the cakes and fresh food as soon as we walked in was amazing, and everything looked so tasty. The two ladies serving were fantastic, so kind, welcoming, and genuinely friendly. What really stood out was how they spoke directly to my young daughter, asking her what she wanted rather than just asking me. It made her feel included and so happy, which I thought was such a lovely and thoughtful touch. A wonderful bakery with great food and even better service. We’ll definitely be back if were around here again!

Golden Eagle

The food and service is spot on. As another reviewer said, dont be put off by the premises. Cash only and only one cashpoint in Bovvi and they charge. Food is 10 out of 10.

Ordered here for the first time tonight food was absolutely lovely. I cant fault any of the order we had and With fussy eaters at home they all loved it and will definetly be back.the staff was extremely nice 5*****

K W Chinese Take Away

read all the bad reviews and was sceptical, but don’t rate any of the other two chinese’s in wareham so thought i’d give it a try and it’s by far the best one. only got a few bits but was tasty and hot. some of the reviews definitely unfair so credit where it’s due

The Chipperies

Lovely little chippy, we were able to enquire about vegan options and were met with lovely knowledgeable staff! Berry much appreciated the vegan options on offer, the pea fritters was a new one for me though quite enjoyable!

The Black Bear

Great to find a pub that serves just drinks, and have a landlord that actually speaks to their customers. Looking forward to the music evenings that are planned. Garden area is great in the sunshine ?
