Stopped in for lunch on a windy and wet afternoon, cafe was quite quiet, food was lovely and the staff very friendly.Kid-friendliness: Selection of toys for the little ones

Great food and service and a real fire on a very cold day.

5 stars- my son loves it! We have come here a few times over the last couple years and my son absolutely adores the place. It’s chilled, quiet, the staff are so friendly and the food is delicious ❤️ He says ‘mum lets give it 10 stars’ x

What a wonderful find! We had full English breakfasts, which were delicious, followed by hot crusty toast & marmalade. Service was excellent and our waitress was both efficient and welcoming. Would definitely recommend.

This is our “go to” place for breakfast. We’ve been here many times and not once did the breakfast disappoint. Great quality ingredients and top service…the coffee is great too! Thoroughly recommend

Had a breakfast here, the food we had was nice and cooked well, but there was NOT alot for the money, staff were lovely and friendly, place was nice and a quaint little garden too.

Terribly slow service (35mins) for a Full English Breakfast – If we had known how bad it was going to be we wouldn’t have waited! The egg was totally frizzled and burnt around the edge, bacon was as dry as piece of leather – with burnt patches, ditto the sausages. The fried bread looked as though it had once been a nice piece of bread but the chief had soon fixed that! And it wasn’t cheap! The staff were friendly but obviously couldn't keep up.

The staff at Nellie Crumb were really helpful - we had time limits on our pre-booked visit and they made sure we had food and drinks in good time to return to our boat trip back to Poole on time. The atmosphere was a bit hectic as the tearoom was crammed full and a rainy day meant no outdoor seating possible, so there was little they could do to alleviate it! They were working so hard, so thank you Nellie Crumb!

Despite being busy this Monday lunch the four of us were seated quickly. We ordered a cake and a drink each and were pleased with what we had, the cakes especially were nice and light and fresh. Don't come in here looking for a gourmet lunch but as a bakery cafe it's an ideal example. We also grabbed a loaf on the way out which was delicious.

Staff were friendly and helpful. The vibe of the place felt a bit low though, much different to how I remember it a few years back. The food was OK but considering the shop is a bakery the scones were not the best...

First time we went I wasn’t impressed, the place is very run down and grubby. Food out of the 1970’s with a huge plate of ice burg, a dribble of carrot, bit of pepper, celery ..Service bad, literally served every one who came in the door before seating us. Stood there like a lemon while they made take away coffees and served a big family ice cream and another couple lunch order, it was chaotic and impractical. There are many other nice friendly and cleaner cafes in the town

Unfortunately, we left before even ordering. The menu was expensive for very little. To get the breakfast you'd want you've be looking at £17 easy. There was only one lady working, so she had to cover the restaurant, and the shop out the front. We were allowed to sit in the cramped front room, which was a living room from the 40's, requiring serious updates. And I felt like I was sat with the family at the next table, or the garden- where we likely would have been forgotten about for even longer. People arrived after us, and were served before us. The place needs a serious update, and a really good clean, more staff and a better thought out menu. I wouldn't have been happy to spend my money here
