My mum and I came here for a steak night and Suzi the Bar staff / waitress went above and beyond, she was constantly attentive to every customer and made us feel so welcome.

Lovely meal with my 90 year old mum. They made us very welcome and the seafood platter was delicious.

Great meal, good value. Would definitely visit again. Also very friendly staff. Would recommend a visit as food is great. Certainly not expensive.

This pub is our local while we are camping nearby. Would have rated 5 stars but our last night was spoilt for me with a group of swearing badly. The food the service and the friendly atmosphere is 2nd to none Just spoilt on our last night by this family. Which I think is unnecessary

Friendly locals pub, visited Wednesday evening for Steak night. Had Rump Steak and all the trimmings, beautiful piece of steak, very tender, incredible value for £7.50. Had the Stilton sauce as well, clearly home made as full of cheese and flavour. My wife is not a carnivore so had 3 bean chilli which she enjoyed. We both finished with the crumble, very good. Definitely recommend this pub if you want a friendly atmosphere and good grub.

We went in just as we passed by as it’s down a side road and normally missed it. The menu was good outside so we thought why not. When we went in there was another menu as well with faggots from the local butcher and had to have that and there were 3 big faggots mash and peas with loads of yummy gravy. My hubby had the surf and turf and said it was great. The lady behind the bar was very nice and the locals were friendly too. The bit I thought was great was the ladies loos. So posh with marble all over very nice and unexpected. So it’s a big yes from us and we will be back Big thank you x

This is a proper small town pub with a good selection of beers, including local micro brewery ales. Good honest pub grub at reasonable prices. Beer garden with access directly off town car park.A refreshing change from the overpriced tourist-orientated pubs that proliferate the area.Recommended.

We stopped off for lunch and to enjoy a proper English Sunday Roast dinner at a good old English pub.I had the nut roast and my partner the roast beef. Good food cooked just the way you got it when you were growing up from the best family cook, good local beer. Excellent Yorkshire puddings. The lass behind the bar is friendly and helpful. Quite a few regulars and there is a real family feel to the place.Good carpark out the back but you do have to pay for parking.Wareham is easy to walk around and this pub is central. Lovely town.

We booked a table for 5The menu was quite basic but didn't even include pub basics like fish and chips or pie. My scampi was "empty" chips were cold, only 1 happy eater out of 5. We had to clear our own table because they forgot... didn't even come and ask us if we wanted dessert or coffees....

Just popped in for a quick drink. The person who served the drinks was very pleasant & cheerful. A good selection of drinks @ reasonable prices. They do food which looked good but I can’t comment on it as we only had a drink.

Enjoyed a lovely roast dinner. Mine was the nut roast and my partner the pork, great size portions, 3 different veggies plus potatoes, parsnip and gravy, exactly how we like it! Homemade style. Staff were really friendly, quick to serve and the vibe was lovely out in the garden.

Came in for steak night for the first time. Considering a busy night, food came out quick and it was really good. I opted for an extra rump steak with peppercorn sauce and a pink of Coke and it only set me back £20.80. Great value for money, great atmosphere and great tasting food

Cosy pub in centre of Wareham with garden area to the rear; excellent pint of Summer Lightning served, amongst other decent bitters. Ideal place to visit for a swift beer, following a Sainsburys shop!

Really nice food definitely freshly prepared in a relaxed atmosphere. The prices of the food and beer/wine were very reasonable. We will return.
