Visited last week. Very good food and quantity at a reasonable price.

Fantastic Tearoom offering gluten and dairy free options, which is a brilliant find. I was told that the sausages were not gluten free, due to the seasoning. As it's only an intolerance I decided to have them and be bloated, and I'm so glad I did. They are their own sausages and they are delicious. The gluten free bread stood up to the heat for about 2/3rds of the sandwich, usually it crumbles as soon as you lift it. We will definitely visit again.

Brilliant little hidden tearoom so reasonable and some of the nicest staff. Such a varied menu that caters for all dietary requirements. Really kid driendly with books and activities for them. Highly recommendedDietary restrictions: I am dairy free as is my son and there were plenty of options they had lovely vegan and gluten free as well. I was most impressed with desert options as this is where I usually struggle

Lovely location with views to die for! Food homemade and beautifully cooked. We particularly love the lasagne! Service polite and non obtrusive but friendly too. Food can take awhile to arrive during busier periods but that’s not a problem for us as we are on holiday and not in a race against time!

We have been here several times over the past few years. Each time we have had breakfast, and each time I have enjoyed a lovely bacon sandwich on brown bread. Today, however, we were told that they only did white baps. When paying I was asked if we were happy with everything and I politely pointed out that we preferred sandwiches, and asked when they had stopped swapping a bap for bread if requested, as they had been happy to do them on previous visits. I was asked how long ago since I had visited, and even though I assured her that it was only a couple of months, I was told that that couldn’t have been the case because they had not done hot fillings in sandwiches since the pandemic. I was so shocked that I was basically being called a liar, that I only answered by saying that we will not visit again. Such a shame as on each of our previous visits, I had made a point of congratulating the staff and saying how much I had enjoyed the sandwich!Of course they have the absolute right to not offer bread instead of basic white baps, but perhaps they should think again as while we were there a group of 4, and another couple walked out, when seeing there was no option for either breakfast sandwiches or even toast. The 4 ladies being served when we left also commented on the lack of choice for breakfasts. What I find unforgivable, though, is that they should treat customers so rudely. I’m not sure I have ever had my honesty called into question when respectfully asking a question.

I ate my sausage, egg and chips in the garden. Great home made sausages and a decent cup of coffee

Took over 1 hour to get food. A burger does not take 1 hour to cook! This is completely unacceptable and as a former chef you should never have to wait over 20 minutes for food unless the menu specifies it. Have a drink here fine but what ever you do, DO NOT EAT HERE! Else you may be waiting an hour till you do. My sisters food was also awful. She didn’t eat half of it. Staff was also rude not smiling or acknowledging us when we would come to the counter. Not happy with the service.P.s. also a fly on the cakes
