Lovely place and fast and friendly service, the food was ok and simple but tasty, they had plenty vegan , vegetarian and non gluten (bread) options with the sandwiches offered and the coffee and Chai latte (vegan) were really good.We were sitting outside under the tree and we had worms coming down from the top of the tree on the table, that was really upsetting and so unfortunately we left.In terms of the food and service it's great but the tree needs to be professionally treated.

Came across this café by chance. Lovely hot cappuccino, wide variety of tasty cakes. Must try the Ice Cream (from Bideford).

Unfortunately they charge extra to sit outside with a takeaway coffee! This is not displayed anywhere in the shop. A shame, as it's a lovely location.

Food was good but waited for some time after ordering until the food was delivered.

Lovely local coffee and fantastic home made cakes, what more do you need.

I went today on my lunch break I asked if they had anything home she told me the pasties and sausage rolls were made two hours ago so they were still warm unfortunately they’re freezing cold I didn’t look at the price until I checked my receipt £4.50 for a small sausage roll and £5.50 for a medium sized pasty it wasn’t bad, but it’s not justifying that price

Lovely young man who served us ice cream on Sunday - even though busy he was very friendly and took time to chat whilst serving - and the ice cream (maple and walnut) tasted amazing !

Small independent coffee/tea shop, plus bakery with good range of fresh "home made" cakes, pastries and savoury products. At peak times, in a small unit, there may be a short delay in service but well worth being patient, with friendly & efficient staff.Super view of the Minster, directly opposite! Will certainly return on any future visit.
