More on the expensive side as far as pubs go but a great menu all round with lots of choice. We especially enjoyed the old fashioned knickerbocker glory dessert. The service was excellent and we will definitely return.Parking: Large free car park opposite the pub

LAMBS GREEN INN, Lane, Corfe Mullen, WimborneWe had a wonderful meal for our business lunch, loads of choice on the menu but the burgers were calling out to us. Fantastic portion sizes combined with delicious flavors, also highly recommend the mac 'n' cheese side dish. It was a popular place for a Tuesday lunchtime but this just added to the atmosphere.Sharon done a fantastic job of making sure we, as well as the busy restaurant, were well cared for.

Mill St, WimborneA superb experience. My amazing son treated me to lunch here today, his starter was the pink pigeon breast, which of course I tasted and was superb. My calamari starter was excellent and probably the best aioli sauce I have had. My main of roasted Porchetta had amazing flavours and was so tender, the sirloin steak with blue Vinny cheese sauce that my son opted for (and I again tasted) was equally delicious. The Chef Keith and the waiters, we dealt mainly with George, were all superb, very personable and friendly, and professional, which added to the wonderful dining experience. I have driven past this establishment many times but you do not appreciate the beautiful views to the river, until you are inside the restaurant. Plenty of parking and the rest room facilities are very clean and ornate with 'swan' taps. I would highly recommend this restaurant and will certainly be returning to sample more of their varied menu.

High quality, fabulous, fresh authentic Thai food with amazing portion sizing, one of the best we’ve come across in the UK so far! Friendly service and great they delivered to us. Willett Arms Wimborne
Dorset, 2 Oakley Hill, Oakley, WimborneHaven't been to the Willett Arms for years, spur of the moment booking as my wife and I wanted somewhere to eat before going to a show at the Tivoli Theatre in Wimborne and we were not disappointed. My wife opted for the buttermilk chicken burger, and I opted for the cheeseburger, and very tasty it was too. The only thing I would say is that both the main dishes could have done with a small salad garnish, in place of the slice of tomato and pickled cucumber(this is purely an observation on my part, and not criticism). This was followed by sticky toffee pudding infused with rum and stem ginger topped with vanilla ice cream infused with crystallized ginger, ingenious flavour combination and the sponge was so light and the ice cream so creamy. My wife and I shared the dessert and mentioned to the staff that it was the best sticky toffee pudding we had ever eaten!!!?? Bravo Willett Arms,all in all a very enjoyable meal,and will definitely be returning for more of the same, thank you.Vegetarian options: Banana plant and fries never seen that on a menuParking: My wife and I went at 5 pm free parking lot easily accessible plenty of spaces

Apart from that, I will be going back, as Blandford doesn't have a suitable Indian restaurant. The lamb rack was divine highly recommended.

2 Cook Row, WimborneLovely place and fast and friendly service, the food was ok and simple but tasty, they had plenty vegan , vegetarian and non gluten (bread) options with the sandwiches offered and the coffee and Chai latte (vegan) were really good.We were sitting outside under the tree and we had worms coming down from the top of the tree on the table, that was really upsetting and so unfortunately we left.In terms of the food and service it's great but the tree needs to be professionally treated.

Almost all tables were full with flolk enjoying themselves.I had a potato bravas and a Hofmeister for £11.40. 10 Church St, WimborneBooked a table for an early Mother’s Day treat for my mum. What a fantastic establishment, we had a warm and friendly greeting from the staff, service was outstanding. We were seated and given the menu, mum recieved a complimentary drink as it was for Mother’s Day, and when the food arrived it was exceptional. I highly recommend this place and mum is already pestering me to take her back.

The Kings Head
The Square, WimborneFirst there were 6 of us and the service from Jess and Zoe front of house was excellent. Michael on the bar was very polite and very friendly, we shall be visiting again.The food cooked by Dillon and Adam the chefs was absolutely superb and the manager Trefor has got a brilliant group of staff and done a brilliant job in turning the kings head around. Rest assured we will be back.

Small portions. Thank goodness I ordered OK sauce to make everything tasty. Hopefully its a 'one off' experience.

However, having read recent reviews I was a little reluctant to go back this time, but was pleased I did. The staff were friendly enough and the food was cooked well, plentiful and hot. We didn't have fish, which is always the test for any fish restaurant, but we were more than happy with what we had.

Wimborne Minster, WimborneFound a seat outside next to the river and managed to enjoy the sound of the water. About 15 mins in tipped with rain and we were found a seat inside. A lovely jacket potatoe. Fast, polite staff, and lovely inside too. Will definitely return. Thank you.

They were beautiful to look at and delicious to taste. I wish I'd taken a photo before they were all devoured. I would highly recommend ordering cakes from Cupcakes by Sissy.

Coach and Horses
Poole Rd, WimborneWe needed a spacious local pub with a good reputation to hold a wake. The Coach & Horses proved to be the perfect venue. We had a planning meeting a week beforehand where we decided on what food would be required (including some gluten free). We had anticipated up to 100 guests, but in the end there a few more than that. But the service and food were outstanding and I cannot thank the staff enough for being so friendly and efficient.

Furzehill, WimborneCalled in on the off-chance for food. Considering it was the busiest time on a Saturday lunch time there was not an issue despite not having a booking. The service was prompt and pleasant but not rushed, the food was great and reasonably priced, served without too long a delay. Recommended!Parking: Only point I would make about the parking is there could possibly be another couple of disabled spaces? Otherwise it`s fine, not lots of manoevering space but fine if you take due care!
