Mill St, WimborneWe visited The Coventry Arms for the second time at the weekend. What AMAZING service… the staff are so generous with their time. And the food! We had awesome meals… the gammon egg and chips … EXCELLENT! The fish and chips… absolutely DELICIOUS!! What a perfect way to spend a couple of hours on a Saturday evening. Thank you so very much… we will be back soon!

LAMBS GREEN INN, Lane, Corfe Mullen, WimborneThe food was tasty even though it didn’t always look it. Standard fare but lots of it. We were all full by the end.
We sat out in the garden which was large and not too busy. We did wait quite a long time for our food and asked after it a couple of times. Luckily we had plenty to talk about. I'm not sure how they would cope if the place was full.
When the food came, it was hot and fresh which helped mitigate the wait.
There were some lovely old cars in the car park which we stopped to admire on the way out.
A pleasant pub diner that I'd give another go if I was ever in the area again.

15 Leigh Rd, WimborneVisited for order and collection. Such a nice friendly woman at the desk. It was a busy Friday night but we only waited 15 mins. The prawn green curry and jasmine rice was delicious and in my opinion a much better flavour than Nusara Thai (also in Wimborne). Very authentic Thai, would order again!

We are very spoilt where we live, with some amazing Nepalese and Indian restraunts, however this is definitely up there. And it's obviously very popular. Will definitely recommend

4-5 The Square, Wimborne Minster, WimborneI went to Piazzo Lounge and honestly it was really nice. The whole vibe is just really chill and cosy, like it’s not too fancy but still feels a bit special. It’s the kind of place you can just sit and talk for ages without feeling rushed.
The menu has loads of options which is good, especially if you don’t know what you want. The food was actually really good as well, like not anything crazy but still really tasty and filling. There’s a good mix of stuff so it’s easy to find something you’ll like.
The staff were nice and pretty relaxed, which just made it feel more comfortable. It can get a bit busy but that’s kind of expected.
Overall I’d definitely go again, it’s just a really easy place to go when you want good food and a nice atmosphere without it being too much.

We were seated and given the menu, mum recieved a complimentary drink as it was for Mother’s Day, and when the food arrived it was exceptional. I highly recommend this place and mum is already pestering me to take her back.

The cafe itself was cosy and inviting. I feel like this cafe is slightly off the main drag of shops and cafes so might go unnoticed but please do yourselves a favour and walk a further minute around the corner. You won't regret it.

The freshly cooked breakfasts were delicious and the dinner menu was quite extensive with nightly offers too. The beef burgers are highly recommended. Over that, all the staff are extremely friendly and guests are made really welcome with an open fire in the bar to finish one’s drinks after the meal. The location is perfect for the New Forest, Cranborne Chase, the coast (such as Purbeck) or north to Shaftesbury.

They were really clear in communicating everything they needed beforehand, polite and chatty to all our guests and their fish and chips and nuggets and chips were great. They had options for our vegetarian and vegan guests and we received nothing but positive feedback from all our guests. Would recommend anyone to have at their wedding or event!

There's no greeting and they deliver your food with the bare minimum of who ordered what, they aren't very attentive when you're ordering because they're chatting to each other.
The cafe is situated in a very pretty courtyard and with a better attitude from the staff it could be tip top.
I does'nt put me off going at all because it's so relaxing and pleasant otherwise.

Orchard Bay Bakery
Holwell farm, CranborneWe spent an overnight in Cranborne and our B and B served bread from this bakery at dinner and breakfast. Called into the village shop on leaving and saw a five seed spelt sourdough sliced loaf to buy. And what a great taste!! Perfect for the toaster, not full of big holes like some sourdough. And better still, it looks like we can get more in Wimborne. Thank you for your great work.

However, I find it incredible they have such a high price point before they give you a bag of prawn cracker. My previous local gave me a bag on a ten pound order. Despite being a regular I need to spend at least £25 for a free bag or prawn cracker, and it keeps going up, there is no conession or recognition for being a regular. Let alone any friendly greeting when you go there. A mixed bag.

Had prawn cocktail starter. Steak pie for main and apple crumble for dessert. All of the food both my partner and I had was great. Would definitely recommend this place. Will go back again.

I would recommend the Aperol spritz cocktail.\n There were 20 of us and all the food came out together and perfectly presented.
