We love this place. A truly family run restaurant, and it shines through brilliantly.Best lasagne and spaghetti meatball dish I've had. We will definitely return.Parking: It's not difficult to find parking in the town but it is a walk to the restaurant from wherever you find it.

A lovely authentic Italian restaurant serving mostly pizza and pasta plus a few specials….. It was very busy when we went midweek, which is always a good sign. The pizza was lovely. I had a thin base one, which was perfect and unusually for me, I even ate the crusts! I will be returning.

First time visiting Piccolo Mondo and we’re already planning our next visit. Lovely authentic Italian restaurant. We both had pizzas and said they were one of the best we’ve had. Staff very friendly and welcoming, can’t wait until our next visit.

Enjoyed a nice mid-week evening meal, first time in this restaurant, staff were very pleasant and we enjoyed a little banter. We had two 2-course pizza meals with a bottle of wine for £55, which was a quite reasonable price. The menu is a little limited but, if you're after pasta or pizza, then do give this place a try. We'll certainly be returning!

Myself and my wife had friends visiting and we chose to eat here for the first time last Saturday evening. I’m so glad we did. The restaurant is lovely, the food delicious, reasonably priced with terrific portions and lovely service. Can’t wait to go again. Thank you ?

Having recently moved to the area, and reading a lot of 5 star reviews for this restaurant, we thought we would check it out. Some people, it seems, will not agree with me when I say that I would rather have saved my money and cooked at home instead. It's a quirky little restaurant in a tucked corner of lovely Wimborne, but as far as the level of cooking goes here, we found it very low grade. The pasta was overcooked, and covered in a claggy, non descript white sauce..the chicken looked pre cooked, and then reheated, and also overcooked. The wine we chose was really nice, and at £25, we thought a fair enough price. We didn't want to make any complaints at the table in front of the other customers, but did say something to the lady behind the bar when we left, but unfortunately she didn't seem too interested in what we had to say.I would say there are far better restaurants in Wimborne to visit at this price point.

Went here for my wife’s birthday with our daughter, it was very busy but luckily we had booked a table in advance. It took a while for the waiter to take our food order although we didn’t have to wait long for the food to arrive once ordered. I have been to many Italian restaurants and would say this one was perhaps a little average, food was ok but nothing extraordinary and choice was limited. I would say it’s worth trying for yourself as everyone has different tastes.
