Disappointing meal tonight having had very good experiences in the pastThe menu was lacking in much imagination, no specials and the high quality local steak and seafood that used to be offered was not to be seen. The crispy chicken salad was smothered in oil, not even a dressing, and as a result the croutons were soggy and the whole dish just tasted of (poor quality) oil.The burger was ok, but other than very good fries there was no salad served with it.Needs to up its game.

Went there for my birthday dinner and loved the place. Very cosy and romantic. Food was delicious. Not fan of massive plates and "small" portion in the middle. It's also a bit pricey for an average Joe.

A lovely pub in a quaint village serving good quality food and although only badger beer, still quite nice beer.

Dog friendly! Food was delicious but would have liked another vegetarian option ideally

I stayed here for a few nights in April 2023. It's a good spot to stay in the area.Things I liked:The bed was very comfortable. There was high water pressure in the bathroom shower. The staff of the pub under the inn were very friendly. Late at night, the area was very quiet. From the room I stayed, I could see the moon.Things I did not like:Till about 11pm, there was a lot of commotion which could be heard very well from my room.

Just spent 2 nights here as a friends wedding was literally across the road. First impressions, lovely, cosey little pub. Room was fine, clean, comfortable and great facilities. The manager was poorly so looked after by a friend/ relative (sorry didn't get his name) as he stepped in. Really frirndly and helpful. Couldn't fault any of the staff. Breakfast was great. I had a steak the first night. Didn't like it, when I mentioned this, full refund, so happy. Overall great stay. The only thing that I have found really disappointing is the prices have been increased for my room personally by £100 because they knew it was a wedding. I know friends paid increased prices as well. I paid £215 a night for a room I can get next week at £115. This has annoyed me slightly as they have not had to do anymore for us than what they would have normally especially still in a quiet time. My room was not worth £215 a night so feel taken advantage of. I would recommend here but would check the prices charged before booking especially if you are going to a wedding locally and they know it!

We stayed for Valentine’s dinner and bed and breakfast on Saturday 11th February. The menu was exciting and special and the food absolutely delicious. Both the salmon and steak melted in the mouth, just perfect. We loved the dessert of three puddings to share. We were completely stuffed, but very pleasantly! Our room was large and comfortable and the breakfast in the morning was extremely good. It was a real treat. We shall definitely go again. The staff were willing and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We can thoroughly recommend the Fleur de Lys Inn.

Sunday Roast. The beef was tasteless, with a very strange onion gravy and burnt overcooked cauliflower cheese. Wouldn’t go back. Our waitress was lovely but the food wasn’t.

On Saturday 29th October we had booked a 100th Birthday meal for 19 people, unfortunately the birthday "boy" was ill and unable to attend but the meal went ahead and family stayed the night. From the second everybody arrived they were looked after, the rooms were superb, very clean and comfortable. We were looked after so well, all the staff were amazing and the food was delicious, including the marvelous breakfast the next morning. Thank you Gareth and all the staff, your all super stars x

Went in this eve for a delightful dinner! Been numerous times before and always liked the place but wasn’t crazy on the food… however there is new management and new menu in town, menu much better and food was delicious, service was fab as always anyway and friendly. I recommend

Very good food but do not like the added 10% surcharge to the bill to tip staff. We are not in America!

One of the best Sunday roasts we've had! it was lovely and also to serve food later than 4 pm on a Sunday is hard to find anywhere for pub food. The service was fab and the food was brilliant. Definitely be back.
