Really disappointing Mac and cheese as honestly it was the smallest portion I’ve ever seen - smaller than a kids meal. Served in a small ramekin and the portion was one piece of macaroni deep. My husbands roasted veg wrap was also small. We left feeling hungry, after what already felt like a fairly expensive meal. The waitress Anna was lovely, she deserves 5 stars. But we wouldn’t eat here again sadly.

Very happy with visit.Booking the table was straight forward.Service was excellent, James was very personable and efficient.The choice on the menu was good.The quality of the food was excellent.We liked the small sweet and coffee option.The atmosphere was great.

Waited an hour for food and when the Sunday lunch arrived the beef was all dry . The waitress took it back and brought another but this beef was all veined and fat for £18 I expect better plus the chef should have made sure it was perfect after sending 1st meal back .Needless to say 2nd meal went back too and we went elsewhere. 1st time in this pub passed it lots of times its lovely outside and inside just a shame it spoilt my birthday lunch

Wish I’d read all the one star reviews before bothering to go here. Waited and hour for food which came out cold, had chips served with a roast ?! Father in laws cauliflower cheese was rock hard, and it wasn't cheap!! I could go on but I can’t be bothered I’ve wasted enough time and money for one day. Disappointing.

Alena delivered excellent customer service to our group of 9. She dealt with every request with happiness and made us feel that nothing mattered more than our satisfaction.The food was tasty, hot and cooked well.Dietary restrictions: Great care and diligence was taken over the allergies of a member of our party. Thorough checks were made with the chef to confirm the ingredients.

First visit for some of us and all were really impressed. Nice location, easy parking and pretty looking pub. Clean and friendly, lovely spacious table for 9 of us. Service was fantastic, prompt, friendly and ‘on it’ making sure we never had to go searching to get a drink or additional orders. Food was ALL delicious.. 7/9 had starters and cleared plates! Complete mixed bag of orders for main… only the kids didn’t finish and that’s cause the pizza was huge and they’d both had starters. Deserts all delicious too! We were celebrating a birthday and every one of us was delighted with our overall experience and will be back
