Really enjoyed our trip to The Three Legged Cross. You have to book in advance, which, luckily, we had done. It's a chain restaurant and plenty to choose from.

Myself and my girlfriends came here while visiting Dorset and I'm so glad that we did! The pub itself is beautiful inside and out. The manageress Sophie was so friendly and helpful and the food was absolutely delicious! We ended up here 3 nights in a row. We will definitely return when visiting the area again!

Came here twice on a trip down for my daughters birthday / cheerleading comp. Friday was burgers with the boys (my son and I) and Sunday was family birthday lunch. On both days the food and service were terrific, especially Becs who made a massive effort to put our minds at ease about the menu as my dine is dairy intolerant. Couldn’t have asked for more. We’ll definitely come again.

Haven't eaten here in ages, so it was nice to try it.I had the pie which looked great, but after removing the lid I was disappointed to see the pie was more pie than filling. However the filling was nice but I just wish there was more of it. All the other guests enjoyed their meals. Unfortunately the coffee machine was broken so we had to go somewhere eles.

We regularly eat here and the food is always great. Abbie and Bex always look after us so well, and have taken the time to get to know our boys (and dog!) too. Thank you ladies! Lovely and friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Great pub and team.

Excellent menu and well stocked bar. A local favourite but also not to far from the beaches for a visit. Sit outside and inside with fires on in the winter. ? Dog and Mud Friendly throughout ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Not sure if pub is under new management or they have a different chef, new staff or a mixture of all these things but sadly was not the standard we have been used to, on previous visits. Visited on Fathers Day, only roast left was pork. Ordered starters, 2 of the 3 ordered no longer available. Opinion was ‘they were ok’. Our drinks ordered on arrival arrived as starters nearly finished. Mains were being served & waitress dropped sauce jug. Steak was not that as shown on menu and not cooked as requested. Again average mains. Went to order desserts and we asked what’s not available as that seemed the theme for the day; we were told it would be easier to say what was available - just 3 options. At least the sticky toffee pudding was good. No checking in with us on how were our meals, did we want more drinks etc. They will need to up their game if they want repeat customers or attract new ones. Not sure how much notice these reviews receive given the standard response from management to any negative reviews. With some work, could be the great country pub it once was.

Nice beers and friendly service. The pub itself and the indoor area are really nice. It's a shame no time seems to have been spent updating the outside area which is just rows of tables half of which don't look long for this world.Good little pub, just needs a bit of love and tlc outdoors.

Visited with friends for lunch as it was always very good for Sunday lunch. Not been for sometime due to having moved out of the area. We were very disappointed presentation was poor , very few vegetables and expensive for what was served. Clearly change of managers and not up to what it was and this was clearly evident as lots of available tables. There are better pubs in the area

A pub that used to be nice, called in for a quick meal tonight, but..... 1. Asked for a drink and it was served incorrectly and the Sauvignon Blanc they service is disgusting 2. Ordered the food that came promptly - no knives or forks and no napkins & no condiments offered 3. No one checked to see if the food was satisfactory - the lettuce in the salad had gone brown at the ends and the tomatoes where soft 4. The outside area is tired and needs rejuvenating The staff behind the bar are not welcoming Vintage Inns you could do better, a lot better

I think the only way you can improve is to offer more vegetarian meals with chips not including fish or mushrooms. The meal was very goo d the service also. Will definitely be back when I can afford it

There was very little choice of meals we ordered prawns with scallops to be told there was only 1 serving then we received 2 servings that we felt was one shared between 2 (2 scallops and 4 prawns each serving for £9.50 !!) then limited mains. We waited a long time to be served and there was only 2 other tables eating. Our first choice of wine not available and to cap it all the coffee machine was broken and had been for some days so no hot drinks,. we will not be going back.

Popped in on spec, the restaurant was quite busy, but they fitted us in. Great service, absolutely fantastic burger & fish & chips. Highly recommended!
