Ordered linguini and meatballs and got spaghetti. The meeballs tasted rancid and hard and the whole thing was disappointing. I village not dine there again.

We went as a party of 4 on a Friday night at 7.15 pm so an early reservation. The restaurant was very busy when we turned up and there was a lovely atmosphere. Our only complaint was that we felt very rushed, we were asked 5 times if we were ready to order within 15 minutes of arriving, we were quite clearly looking at the menu and catching up with our friends. The food was great and the service quick, too quick. We had had mains, desserts and coffees within 1.15 hours. We assumed there was a second sitting hence the rush but after leaving we went for a drink somewhere else and when walking back at 10 it was closed. In summary, the food was lovely and reasonable but we felt rushed.

Maybe it was because it is Christmas and they were extremely busy. Customer service was lacking. Attention was given to the larger parties. We were mainly ignored once we had ordered. When our food arrived we were not offered pepper, Parmesan and had to ask for mayonnaise (which was literally plonked on the table in the bottle). My meal was lovely but my husband was disappointed with the salmon which was served in the foil bag it was cooked in - it left his plate swimming in the cooking juices. No waiter asked how our meal was until he cleared the plates. We have been to this restaurant in the past and always had very good service, hence the disappointment.

Visited several times over last 2 month, while staying in town due to family illnesses.This place is a fantastic authentic family run business. Staff are amazing and welcoming. Food is very authentic and rustic. Usually busy, small and compact, so usually a very good atmosphere.Very reasonable prices, I especially love the half and half pizza/pastaProbably worth a quick call to book due to its popularity with local towns folk..... they always found me a table

A lovely place and decent food. Staff friendly and competent.Not a massive fan of 'voluntary' service charge added to bill already but, that being said, the experience was worth a good tip so we'll go with it. Definitely recommended.
