Fantastic meal and amazing service. The Waitresses were like electric eels moving around the place. Food was top notch and at a decent price.

We popped in for a quick dinner. It was quiet, food was delicious, we had a chicken parmesan, bolognaise and carbonara.Service was friendly, drinks were good.I think it'd be a great atmosphere if it was busier. Will definitely go back, lovely eating place in Barnard Castle.

Lovely place, really good pizza and pasta. I've been here several times and the food is always good. Open kitchen too for those that enjoy

Looks to be a revamped car showroom, or something similar. Very open and bright inside which wasn't a great eating environment.Staff were helpful and attentive.Toilets were grim and only one gents.Pizzas were ok, but you have to try hard to wreck a pizza. Starters average at best. The portions were generous though.

Linguine Gamberoni was really nice, with a very flavoursome sauce. Tiramisu was average, good size portion but have had nicer ones. Service was very efficient, almost too efficient, felt like they were wanting to close early. Pricing felt right for quality, portion size

Great restaurant! I had my first chicken parmo here too, so I was expecting a lot. Firstly; it was huge! Secondly, it was so juicy and tasty, with a great amount of sauce and cheese, just enough so you could taste everything. Wife also enjoyed her pasta that she couldn't even finish. Both of us had a starter that might not have been needed if we knew the portion sizes.

Upon arrival the restaurant wasn't very busy and we were quickly seated. Our order was taken however the server returned promptly to confirm our order. We had ordered 2 mains and a garlic bread starter to be served at the same time as the mains. The mains arrived quickly but when we inquired about the garlic bread we were abruptly told we hadn't ordered one. As we were already half way through the mains we told them it didn't matter. Once we had finished the mains we were offered the dessert menu however this didn't arrive. By this time we had finished our drinks however it was another 15 minutes before we were asked if we wanted anything else. At this point we decided it was time to leave. We asked for the bill which was delivered to the table however no one was forthcoming to take our payment so we had to approach the bar to pay. Although the food was excellent I would not return based on the poor service received.

It has a school dining hall feel all sat in rows. Menus dirty, which didn't give the place a good start! Food is good although 2 meals came wrong. Staff sorted straight away. Don't think we'd go back to Barnard Castle, but we might try

A lovely Italian restaurant which we’ve now visited twice and enjoyed on both occasions. We enjoyed bruschetta starter which we shared which was tasty and light. We had a Ziza gourmet pizza with additional toppings and Pollo Pepp. Both were delicious and were served hot. It shouldn’t have to be a comment that food is hot, but in so many restaurants now you’re lucky if food is lukewarm by the time it reaches you. The pizza base was thin and crispy with plentiful toppings. The sauce for the chicken was flavoursome and had depth and the chicken was moist. The Mediterranean vegetables made a nice change and complemented the dish well. It was well complimented by our wine. We had cheesecake and tiramisu for desserts and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The staff were friendly and the service was efficient. The restaurant wasn’t at full capacity for a Tuesday night, but it wasn’t empty and the food was prepared fresh so the wait time was very reasonable all things considered. The restaurant offers tasty food at reasonable prices and on both occasions we have thoroughly enjoyed our meals.
