My favourites at no 15 are the toast & jam because it's such good toast, ditto the jam and butter, or equally, to sample the soups. You get plenty with proper bread, and some unusual homemade soup flavours. Good scones and homemade snacks too. Recommended.

Worst latte ever, apart from that everything was hunkydory

Best bacon sandwich I've had in a long time and the Victoria sponge cake to follow was delicious

Lovely - ? lovely people, coffee and place - could have sat all day watching the world go by. Barnard Castle has lots of good coffee shops but No15 tops them all. ? we will be back x (dog friendly as well)

One of the best places you’ll ever have coffee and lunch in. The owners are lovely, it’s dog friendly, the coffee is superb, but the flat breads are the main event. We travel to Barney just to have lunch here.

The guys at No.15 have a “best” coffee status for good reason. It’s high quality, smooth, nin-acidic and made top-Barista style so did not disappoint. Service with a smile & banter, the takeaway brew was quick & fun. They are “locals”, & helped us with local-knowledge too. The food looked delicious and home-baked too and you can sit in as well and people-watch. We Visited Barnard Castle to “see” what all the media hype was about & its a beautiful and thriving market town. A must visit destination (and coffee shop) with quaint shops and friendy people for a quick- stop enroute or overnight.

Fantastic little cafe on the Main Street with an array of beautiful homemade cakes - one of our party asked for a gluten-free option and was given the choice of 5 different flavours - the gluten free Victoria sandwich sponge was amazing

Walking through the town we found this place for lunch. We had 2 sandwiches so we could share and they were delicious. The fillings were fresh and full. If we return and probably will then this place will be a must.
