“Absolute gem of a place in Billingham, hidden away in Belasis Park. Had the Kitchen special fry up (asked for fried bread instead of toast and it was delicious) and a bacon butty, with a latte and pot of tea for 14 quid! They were making steak pies and parmos for lunch, which looked absolutely amazing but was stuffed from the fry up! Shall definitely be back!”

“My friend and I visited John Whitehead cafe on Wednesday 23rd July.
My friend had the breakfast and I had the vegetarian breakfast.
The breakfasts were very tasty, presented well. They were not greasy and the portion size was perfect. Nice and hot and freshly cooked from scratch.
The black coffee and decaff latte where also perfect.
The staff in the cafe very nice and helpful. Prompt service and where asked if everything alright. Which it was. We would definitely recommend this lovely community cafe.”

“Above and beyond service to four, needy teaching staff, two weeks in, we're already running on empty.
Clean and tidy, plus we managed to get our usual table, which was brilliant! Staff checked on us, to see if everything was good, which it was.
A great way to recharge after a full on week!”
