I went with a group of friends almost on a whim. I, and the rest of us were so glad we did! The food and service were really, really good quality and at a very reasonable price. 4 of us, we had the set meal for 4 altogether with drinks £100. We all decided this would not be the last time we would visit! If there was a negative, the 'facilities' are a bit in need of attention.

Tonight we phoned in an order at 6.25pm. We were told it would take 50 minutes as they were busy. Didnt mind. So 7.15 we arrived out the back. 8.10pm i was still stood waiting along with 7 other people. People who were told 8pm were all getting served so all 7 of us asked how long ours would be and the young girl said ....here.. if you dont like waiting theres plenty of other chinese to go to. Fine. I promptly phoned lotus express for a home delivery and came away. Such a lovely night in the cold and such a lovely attitude from the girl. Obviously they are so good that they dont need the custom. I order here every week and have family meals inside but i now have a bitter taste in my mouth !!!!! Annette

Food ok - avoid mixed grill. Clearly more interested in takeaway customers than dining in. Even getting staff off the phone to pay by card proved impossible.

I like this place the staff are friendly and the food is nice as well. It not usually too busy so it nice if you are having a family get together or meeting up with friends. I would recommend this place.

Lovely staff . But I always judge a breakfast on the quality of the sausage they where so poor I could not eat them worse than the half moon.Then I could not believe they use margarine on the toast . Also could not eat themSo food quality poor staff great and helpfulThis is a new business that had cut to many cornersI wish them well but I hope they see this review as a helpful note as to how they can improve not a go at them

Lovely friendly staff, always a joy to visit with my family. Not too noisy like other cafes so you can hear when talking. Haven't tried food yet just the drinks. Toilets nice and clean.
Best Sunday lunch we have had in Billingham delightful friendly helpful staff we will be ordering again thankyou so much on time plenty of delicious food

Lovely warm friendly staff, superb quality food at affordable prices for all pockets. Clean comfortable environment. Hospitable staff from the front of house to the culinary creators. Would recommend to everyone

Lovely friendly staff always willing to put a smile on your face. Disability access into the diner. Good food, good drinks, good company. Give it a try you won’t be disappointed. Carvery is better value for money than I’ve found anywhere else.
