We called here for a last minute bite to eat before going to the forum. The food and service were first class.Give this place a try, I'd happily recommend their parmo. No hype, just fantastic food. Many thanks to all the staff and management.???

Food took ages to arrive and tasted mediocre at best, after 10 minutes of food being down the staff came over and asked if we wanted a takeaway box while we were clearly still eating, more interested in getting more sports fans in than good hospitality, won't be coming

Me and my wife came here for lunch on a quiet Monday morning. The lady at the bar was nice and friendlyThe food arrived reasonably quickly and was delicious. Portions were a really good size too. There's a couple dart boards and pool tables. And they also do lots of events. We will definitely be back!Parking: Fair amount of parking spaces available at the pub and also nearby street parking.

Excellent place to enjoy a meal as well as some good beers.

Absolutely amazing Parmo, best I’ve had for a long time. I had a half Parmo and that was a decent size.Triple cooked chips done to perfection!100% I will come back and I can’t recommend the food enough. The chef is the unsung hero out the back, they need a pay rise to make sure they stay at the pub and don’t get poached (pardon the pun) by another pub or restaurant!Service was fast and friendly. The pub and tables were clean and tidy.It was quiet for a Friday evening but, sadly, most places are these days.Definitely go and try the Parmo at The Lion!!!Parking: Straightforward, on-site, free parking.Plenty of spaces.Wheelchair accessibility: Easily accessible main entrance from the car park. There are a couple of steps up to some of the seating areas.

I couldn't really be fair to the atmosphere because a game of bingo was going on, so it was deadly silent (other than the caller). Food was as decent as ever (only eat parmo). If you're up for bingo and parmo on a early Wednesday afternoon, then you won't go wrong here.
Quick service and friendly staff, we went on a day they played Bingo and it was quite busy.Parking: Not sure how many spaces.Wheelchair accessibility: The entrance and doorways are easily accessible for wheelchairs.
