Place quite full, we hadn't booked a table ( it was 16.10) but could get a table had to vacate by 17.30.. Meal was good but mix up on orderOrdered :1 Large bolognese parmo, fries & salad1 Small bolognese parmo fries & salad.Food arrived large plain parmo, chips & salad.Small bolognese parmo, chips & salad.Was asked to change to fries didn't want to wait.Food tasted good though

Proper DIRE! No grizzle! Sure no fine dine brizzle. Had some meal, we thought it was shizzle! In the Billo, no proper skrinzo! OUT!
Saturday afternoon visit, food really good and quick despite being very busy service and staff all spot on really enjoyed our food, good choice on menu and Parmos looked massive ( we didn’t try one) home cooked chips delicious- will definitely go back but will book next time as does get very busy which is not surprising as it’s so good. I got shawarma excellent

Great evening out for my surprise birthday meal never been here for over 40 years but it won't be that long again. The food was delicious and service excellent.

A very popular place. We hadn't booked (advisable you do on a Friday). But the gentleman made room for us, as there was only 2. Food very good, service ok. As it was so busy, it was rather loud. All in all we would recommend The Merlin.
