A great family pub restaurant with pool room. No licence to sell alcohol at present but they do allow you to bring in your own from nearby off licence. Made a defiant stand against the government lock downs and continues to stay open for private events.

I moved back to Stockton after 20yrs and I am going through every available Sunday lunch delivery service in the area and so far this one is BEST by far! Absolutely delicious food, quality meat and vegetables. Cannot fault it. But since they seem to have stopped delivering and I work from home on a Sunday so can't get down there which is a shame. Highly recommended though.

It's quite clear, given the reviews and its reputation, we went on the wrong day, but absolutely nothing about today's experience was redeeming. We were given a waiting time of 55 minutes, and having arrived to collect about right on time, the order wasn't ready. Three times, I had to go and check on the progress and was given very sparse information. In the end, the wait was an additional 1 hour 10 minutes on top of the 55 minutes initial time; during that time several other customers came in and had similar waits. It was clear there were problems today, but the wait was only one aspect of the problems. The service in general was abject. The manager, once he realised how bad things were, stopped going out to speak to customers. And this from a supposed pub - it was a good job nobody during the hour I was there wanted a drink. He simply took the coward's way out and sent out some of his staff to try and relay half-cocked messages. Only one of the women serving gave any care to customer service, and she was clearly upset at how bad things were going. In the hour I was there, the phone barely stopped ringing and yet was only answered twice. The kitchen itself was just chaos, food on the floor, and people carrying food in serving forks from one side to the other. I don't think anybody knew how to use a cooking thermometer, and far too much food was going in the microwave. And after all that, when I got home, part of the order was wrong. The food was atrocious, carrots part-cooked, mash and veg all stone cold, the Yorkshire puddings were like leather, and next to no gravy to go through four meals. In the end, all I managed to eat was a small serving of turkey, some sausage and some stuffing. Without any question, this was the worst meal I've had the misfortune of having. I couldn't recommend any of the experience at all. Almost certainly, just one very bad day at the office, and I (nor any other customers) had a drink from a supposed pub. Try at your peril.

Nice little place, friendly service, lovely smell of food when you walk in. Half of the beer garden is covered which is always a bonus. 2 nice sized Telly's inside. Would definately recommend. I'm a guiness fan and they served a nice pint, so no arguments here. Pop in and have a try for yourself.

Lovely traditional Sunday roast, very tasty. The price was good for both the meal and the drinks

The Porky Pint is s hidden gem on Mill Lane Billingham, it's small full of character with one of a kind beers and ciders and a decent gin collection and cocktails, the food alone is worth the visit especially the pulled beef and pork.

We came here to check it out after being recommended by a friend. We got a gorgeous hot roast pork and turkey but with a choice of any beer cider lager from the draught. I had coors my grandad had a popular choice of ale which was so unusual never tried anything like it before but gorgeous. Staff all lovely as well. We will certainly be back!
