Popped into the welly for the England rugby match at the weekend, not our usual choice for sport but we thought we'd give it a go! We were really impressed, the atmosphere was on point and the staff did a great job with the music after the game to keep people upbeat regardless of the score! We weren't planning on having food, but we ordered a few sharers and they were perfect for sharing with mates. Not only that, but the Guinness was absolutely perfect, which sometimes is hard to find these days. We were served by Jo and Sophie who were a good laugh and quick to serve, they also let us know they have a new manager and both seemed really positive about the change! We will be back more regularly for sure.

Large group of us pre booked, no mixed grills available, ordered hunters chicken, bacon was cremated. And other meals weren't up to scratch, but it was a busy weekend, and it did seem the young staff were new.

Went for parmos at £11 each so surprised when bill for two came to £38. Turned out this was due to three drinks. Pint of Neck Oil is £6!!This left me feeling ripped off so will probably go elsewhere in future.

We were first in. My gammon was cold! No excuse. Also never seen such small onion rings.

Nice to be able to take the pooch when we eat out. Lovely friendly local. ☺️Vegetarian options: Not too many options, although my daughter loved the mushroom Wellington.

Ordered two pies, one was full and the other had very little in it. Service was good though. We had to eat so the other 7 meals didn’t go cold and waited 20 mins for replacement meal. We went to order puddings and was told kitchens were closed and was left disappointed as we had to wait extra time to receive meal. The parmos ordered were more like a southern chicken fillet with toppings
