Called in on way to Corbridge made very welcome old fashioned pub
So the sun was shining and outside seating area gorgeous. Drinks ordered on app came quickly. I then ordered fish n chips which came very over cooked which was disappointing. Had to ask for tartare sauce and lemon which I had ordered. Other 2 had the pie and the pastry was tough as old boots. Waited for plates to be cleared so could pass on comments but plates were left til we has left (they knew). Disappointing as only went because if advert in local paper.

Very cheap pints, £2.20 alpine pine pint larger £3.40 taddy larger pint all organic and old social pub no mobiles TV or anything just a lovely quiet social pub, very friendly and welcoming
