Ordered on Just Eat not realising this indian is in Bishop Auckland and I live near Crook. Felt a bit guilty thinking delivery driver would have to drive so far. Food was estimated to take an hour but only took 30 mins. Food was red hot. I burnt my fingers which is a good thing. Delivery driver was nice to my Dad who answered the door. Good service. Thank you. :)

Absolute shambles of a takeaway, took 2 hours to come then when it did was all absolutely stone cold. Phoned up to complain I quote and stated they said there is nothing they can do it about they going home. Phoned next day to be told that it’s the next day what does he want me to do absolute disgusting AVOID at all costs!

I don't know why people have complained about the food and service here...... I've eaten at many Indian restaurants and take aways and this place is absolutely lovely. Their food is brilliant, tasty, and it's never luke warm nor cold. People moaning about silly things like they got a delivery and their poppadoms were crushed.....not being funny but you don't complain to walkers that their crisps were 'broken' LMAO!!!! The service is great too, if you want changes made or something a little different they help the best they can. The server that works there is hilarious, she has great customer service and makes me laugh....and the chef/s GREAT FOOD..... It's absolutely lovely!!!!Vegetarian options: They have A LOT of options.....even though I'm not a vegetarian lol!!!!Parking: You can pull up right outside, as it is on the corner ?

Asked for dish to be made a bit more spicy.Dish was watery no spice and when I called to ask why they said they can't make creamy dishes spicy.Only Indian I've ever known that can't make a dish spicy.I will never go back very unprofessional and food awful

Just picked up my order and it's wrong again ! Called to tell them to have a lady tell me they was out of what I ordered and she swapped it with something else. I told her I did not like what she had chosen and she said in an aggressive tone "what do you want me to do about it" I asked for a refund to be told straight NO The food was so tastless and bland, poppadoms came as a bag of dust ,missing items and an aggressive staff member playing roulette with my meal! Honestly don't waste your money

I have been ordering from here for years but tonight's meal was vileBland tastless utter yuck!Never will I order from here again it's really gone down hill

Having asked my wife if she could book a last minute takeaway curry due to my late arrival from work i was informed that she had booked from The Kings Balti. Having not booked here before I thought that it would give us an opportunity to try somewhere new with our usual at Ferryhill being closed. Ordering:- Text based model that gave you an estimate of delivery. Not very good as when the app stated that the meal had been despatched we waited sufficient time to wonder if the delivery had got lost. Phoning we were informed that the meal had JUST been despatched even though the app had it on its way some 15 minutes earlier. The Food:- Bland/cold - something you would like to forget! The chips had to be heated in a microwave. One of the curry’s had to be scraped out of the bag with the box having been crushed in transit. On the whole I would say that the lesser reviews here show a true prospective of how good the place is. With the odd good review being placed by family or friends. My wife even questioned if the meal had been frozen/reheated. Stay clear! You will do yourself a favour.

Had our meal delivered tonight and was DISSAPOINTED at the packaging the brown paper bag what has the food in was soaked in masala sauce as the lids weren't on properly. So everything was covered the plastic bag was covered in it. I took photos proof. But the food was absolutely 1st class. Just upset at the mess..

Order from here if you don't want to receive your food and get aggression from the manager if you want a refund for that reason. Terrible attitude, don't bother if you want food from a place that values your custom

Order was wrong. Tikka masala lid wasn't on properly and had leaked over the other containers. Food was just ok - nothing impressive. Won't be returning.
