On the 7.1.24 week booked a table for 3:15 for 4 adults and 3 children, arrived on time , took a quite some time to actually be seen to , paid and queued for carvery one of the children got the smallest portion on chicken breast, then for us all to be there's no meat left but we could just have vegetables, this was an insult and an embarrassment , when we asked for a refund there seemed to be an issue and we're charged for drinks . Obviously we weren't staying for a meal so drinks wernted needed , we asked for refund then tried to give my dad less money than paidWe again has a issue getting full refund but got there in the end .as we were leaving the person serving us decided to laugh and talk about us so we question it and was laughedReally unprofessional and wouldn't recommend and never use again

As a family we regularly use the Brewers Fayre at Tindale,Today was supposed to be a birthday breakfast for my daughter. We booked a table as usual.I had to go and chase a waiter to take our orders,We waited early 40 minutes and the breakfast finally arrived after I had asked the manager where was our food.My daughter is a vegetarian and she ordered veggie bacon and eggs,Her meal turned up with Meat sausages on her plate which she returned. On Two of our meals the bacon was cold and the fried eggs were not even warm.We sent them back as wellThere was no availability of croissants or cakes available until we asked for them.Overall this was the worst breakfast we have had there.

Nice and chilled,Amelia is class!!Atmosphere lost a star only because of the old farts that hang about the till. Tell them to sit

Nice pub attached to the Premier Inn. Only had drinks on this occasion.

Absolutely terrible place the food is barely edible. And the service is very poor. The beer is warm and flat. The place is tatty and dirty needs a refit. Just avoid it and go anywhere

Went here for first time on Xmas day for Xmas lunch. Food was OK and it was reasonably well organised but it felt like we had all three courses together before having to leave as you only get 2 hour timeslot. Will try somewhere else Xmas 2024

Todays experience it rubbish - stassy never made eye contact when taking our food n drinks order showed no enthusiasm and then had to void order and restart, took ages for her to make a simple mock tail when she eventually found the sheet with the ingredients in to use. Amazing Amelia brought starters then came with said starters again. Sent back. Then she came back over to check our order - first order had not been cancelled with kitchen !! Gave us second staters as they were going to waste!! Amelia was only member of staff that seemed to be on the ball today. Sat nearly 3 quarters hour waiting for mains!! Back to bar to order more drinks. One person serving and a long line of customers. Only to be told they ran out of jack Daniels a few days ago and not got anymore in ?? By time go back to table My meal was lukewarm - thankfully my family had eaten their food and said it had been hot . Been there numerous times and normally fine Abut today was a bit of a shambles. Tindale Crossing sort your staff- stock up on alcohol and learn them to communicate with kitchen staff and teach how to make simple mocktails

Spent a 2 day stay in premier inn 18th/19th Dec.The stay was as expected. Unfortunately, the food was uneatable. I had to go to the bar and ask about the sweet after a 20 min wait. Don't wat is was but both my wife and myself came down with a food bug.. I frequently stay in Bishop Auckland/ Premier Inn.. It's definitely my last time in the tindale Crossing..

So we visited yesterday afternoon after an enjoyable experience at Locomotion. Whilst the building looked dated, and busy inside the few staff we saw were mostly great. A table of 6 so obviously needed a table, a member of staff suggested to try the bar area as the rest of the restaurant was ‘reserved’ we found a great table and this fulfilled our needs The refill drinks offer is great, as was the food. Only two points to make, firstly a bit surprised that Whitbread do not apply their Allergy procedures throughout the estate and possibly just in Premier Inn. No offer of seperately washed cutlery or table being cleaned, also server wasn’t sure if the first burger was gluten free or not. Second is clearly like the rest of the Whitbread estate staff run the place mostly single handedly and the restaurant would benefit from maybe 4 people out the front when it gets busy as it took 25 mins to get desserts when asked. (Had to ask a 2nd time) Just hope that the hospitality industry can attract more staff so the restaurants can be run effectively and efficiently like they used to be. Overall it was a 8/10 visit with only the lack of staff and the allergy procedures not being the same across all of Whitbreads chains bringing the score down.

Ordered food and waited nearly an hour. The chips were overcooked so not able to eat them. When made a comment to the staff they weren't bothered and the excuse was they had a large party in. Obviously not able to cope with large parties and normal service. A shame as the food is usually good. Maybe should get more staff to cope with it all.

They allowed us to book a big part of the pub out to celebrate my daughters 18th.They allowed us early access to decorate how we wanted. We had a great evening, great food and great atmosphere, would 100% recommend Tindle crossing for any celebration.Queen Sophie is awesome ?Dietary restrictions: My Nephew has a peanut allergy and they're always fantastic, that's one of the reasons we chose the pub.

The staff here are a great team, friendly and helpful. We've stayed in The Premier Inn next door several times and always use this Brewers Fayre for meals and evening drinks. Many thanks to everyone.
