Worst fish and chips… fish was so oily, the box was dripping and soaked in oil by the time I got home to eat it. Chips were not good at all, both had no flavor, all I could taste was old oil.. first and last time I get fish and chips from here.
Too expensive £11 fish and chips you get more delves lane fish shop it’s gone down hill a bit chips are better there I used to love this fish

WOOOWWWW!! I’m not one to write reviews but I went in tonight for a doner wrap and some chips and oh my god not only was it insanely good value but it tasted absolutely amazing! The cabbage was zingy and tasty the meat was delicious, it was literally the biggest thing I’ve seen in my life - no exaggeration it was the same size as my lower leg. The staff were so so friendly particularly the lovely woman serving me! They were all just very smiley and happy and will totally be going back! Thank you SO much

Cheesy chips and garlic sauce never again, a couple of mouthfuls and the bin got the rest, very disappointed chips are normally top notch definitely not this timeTo much garlic sauce which had a bitter taste.Cheese on toast it is then......!

been a few times first time i went the fish and chips were fantasticnot sure what has happened i'm hoping the owner see this and goes back to how it was fish was put in fresh when you went in chips tasted fresh but last twice fish already cooked very soggy batter chips greasy please get back to how your fish shop was a few months ago it was the best in consett

Paid nearly £12 for fish and chips curry sauce and a bun, the fish was so small and very little chips everything had no taste what so ever i was absolutely disgusted when I got home tasteless never again even people I no just told me its a complete waste of money will not be going back straight In the bin!!
When the owner is coming (the indian women) the portions gets small. The tall foreigner man give good portions. I recommend him when you order food. :) other girls are little bit rude. They always misunderstand

Busy shop, but the quality & quantity is not great. No welcome from the staff on till, very moody. Chips ? fried too long - greasy. Burger ? is absolutely nasty. Never try again in the future.

Probably my favourite chip shop around consett, I've never had a bad meal, also the prices are still really good, they do pizza after 3pm and in my opinion there better than any of the pizza shops in the area, I highly recommend this place ?
