One of the best curries I have had in my life. Extensive imaginative menu beautifully cooked and served by lovely people in a smart comfortable restaurant. I’m an onion bhaajis fanatic, these were the best I’ve ever had.

5* service and 5* food absolutely amazing, shop is always immaculate food is always fresh and piping hot, staff are amazing and it’s just as good eating in or taking out. Been a customer for many years the best chippy I’ve been too. Highly recommend.

Sweet Things Cafe

I've been many times here for breakfast lunch or snacks, always lovely food and service. Lovely friendly cafe. They also had an exceptional Christmas window painted display!

The Jolly Drovers

This is the first time me and my wife have dined here, and we were not disappointed, a great variety of food on the menu for every appetite, we WILL be returning very soon, and I recommend that even if you visit the once , you won't be disappointed.

Sale Pepe, Shotley Bridge

A wonderful Sunday roast with ample portions. Only spoilt by really loud customers and excessive noise levels. Service was a little slow even though it wasn’t too busy.Parking: Parking is a short walk away if you get lucky.

The Travellers Rest

Great small pub that has good food and displays sports on the tv as well. Was pretty busy at the time I was there but still great service and not a long waiting time till the food was ready. Downstairs is more like the pub area and upstairs the restaurant part.Had a Deluxe Burger wich was an absolutly amazing burger, fresh bread, juicy burger and fries or chips. Good price as well for what you get, I paid £13,95 for the whole plateVegetarian options: There are a few vegitairian options on the menu marked with a V next to the name of the itemParking: There are a few parking spaces around the pub itself. If there is no space you can also park at the football club wich is only 3 minutes walking away

Sambuca Consett

With one hours notice the staff took on a baby shower for us after being let down by somewhere else, they couldnt of been any nicer or helpful, food was amazing staff were fantastic, couldnt of asked for better. Thank you all so much.

Came here as had "5mins" for a coffee break, as only in Consett for a work call. Had the new Salted Caramel Milkshake (as a take out), and very nice too!! Staff friendly and helpful. Would come again when next in Consett.Parking: Parking around Costa & KFC. If not able to park there, plenty in main shopping area.

Tesco Cafe

What a delightful manner Debs has. It's a busy Saturday morning. The cafe is almost full. The place appears understaffed and yet she is warm, friendly and efficient.First time here and I welcome the service.Many thanks

1 million% recommended, My toddler loved playing with everything as almost everything is interactive, the food is absolutely worth the price and so is the entry fee and no need to say the customer service was 10/10! Definitely going again!

Cooplands

Sausage rolls and cheese straws are simply the best according to my daughter. Bacon sandwich freshly made as I waited at the counter, Bakewell slice are to die for ... brilliant and friendly helpful staff too. A good experience

Starbucks Coffee

Popped in here on the 23rd of December. Was welcomed by a worker dressed up as the grinch and sharing the Christmas spirit. Made my day. The staff were all friendly and drink was served quickly. Definitely recommend this

Price's are big for products. Love the cheese n bacon wraps but don't get them as the price is astronomical! Good for a treat though so will let ya off ???yumm.

The Old Court House Bar & Kitchen

Finally got around to trying this place and it didnt disappoint. As it is an Old Court the breakfasts are named after offender types. I had the repeat offender and the food served was hot, of good quality and perfectly cooked. My partner had eggs on toast and again these were perfect as were the accompanying coffees. The service was excellent and our server was friendly and helpful. Will definitely go back but next time I intend to check out the evening meals.

Staff couldn’t be nicer and I’ve never ordered anything that has turned out to be disappointing. Whether it’s Indian dishes, or kebabs and pizzas, they take pride in everything they cook.couldn’t recommend them any more highly ?? ???

New Peking Villa

My fave Chinese takeaway in Consett, has been for many years. Quick delivery, good food. The King Prawn with mixed veg in Kung Po sauce is superb! Nice people too, I did some work at their house years ago, and they gave us all free homemade meals for our lunch! ?

Lotus Chop Suey House

Can't really give a discribe what the delivery service is like as I've always either got a collection or gone into the shop but what I can say the food is great tasty and good portion size and fair priced but I have to say there is always room for improvement and don't get complacent so keep up the good work

Consett Kebab & Pizza

Tonight we tried this place for the first time. It was delivered quickly, the delivery guy was super happy and friendly. And the food was hot. It was the nicest take away we have had in ages. And definitely the nicest in Consett. Would highly recommend Consett Kebab and Pizza

Supreme Takeaway

Food was absolutely delicious, changed soo much from the past. Ordered the kebab calzone and added extra jalapeños which was lovely! Arrived hot and on time, my mozzarella sticks seemed like they just came out the fryer that’s how hot they were. Not only that but i got a free cheesy garlic bread! Coming back definitely and i 100% recommend this! Loved it!

Golden Pizza Consett

The only takeaway shop I order from is golden pizza, food is always 10/10 and service from staff and delivery drivers is very pleasant. I would recommend anyone in the area to give it a try.

Love the variety of pizza, especially the Indian base ones, very tasty and full of flavour and toppings.Great deals and offers always on.Garlic breads are delicious too.Always quick for collection.Don't like to go anywhere else for pizza now we've found here.

Captains Cod Traditional Fish & Chips

Grandson recommended captains cod when he came to stay, we were not let down pizza were excellent, sauces tasty, and together with delivery on time, delivery lady friendly and careful due to present situation. Many thanks we will order again.l

Blackhill Fish & Chips

Freshly cooked menu all to order. We waitied around 7 mins in total. We were greeted with staff and we were asked what our order was. Soon as it was ready (around 4-5 mins) we were alerted and told the team member what we would like with our meals. Cheese and onion patties (homemade btw) are to die for. Definitely the best chip shop in the area

Fish cooked fresh and on order. Service is quick and food tastes nice. I would prefer chips cooked a little longer but have been here several times and never had a bad meal

Great place to eat we used to use the deli in leadgate but Gary beats the quality taste and freshness and price by a million miles, would only use this cafe from now on and would highly recommend you try

The Whistle Blower

Love this pub, i asked a mate a while ago whats the best pub in the small town centre ?, He said this place soi went & actually loved it..wetherspoons was absolutely rammed (no seats) so i walked out & came here, plenty of seats and an open plan set up really..Some of the older ones eyed me up but you get that in most pubs..staff very friendly and music was very low, plenty of screens to watch , i think the toilets are upstairs but i never went so cant confirm that..would i go again of hell yes, ? ?

WOOOWWWW!! I’m not one to write reviews but I went in tonight for a doner wrap and some chips and oh my god not only was it insanely good value but it tasted absolutely amazing! The cabbage was zingy and tasty the meat was delicious, it was literally the biggest thing I’ve seen in my life - no exaggeration it was the same size as my lower leg. The staff were so so friendly particularly the lovely woman serving me! They were all just very smiley and happy and will totally be going back! Thank you SO much

Best pizza, kebabs and wraps I've had in Consett. Cheap, but good quality food Friendly staff too, nice clean and tidy shop. (Woulda been 5 stars if they had a bit more salad on kebabs and in wraps) ?

Morrisons Cafe

Always loved a morrys breakfast, there nice just sometimes you get different amounts of each food, later on in the day sometimes items are missing and smaller size breakfast. Was best when the sauce sachets were on help yourself leaving with pocket fulls?still recommended thoughParking: Absolute massase, plenty of disabled places. I've never been on thus or Fri's which I think would be the busiest days but the car park near to KFC is always got room and the one on the other side near the bottlebanks is always empty
