Wow just had Game Casserole, this dish is unbelievable. If you like game you will definitely like this. Served with fresh brown bread. Highly recommended

Stayed here with family for a night to celebrate my dads 83rd birthday. Had a fantastic time, rooms excellent and food was delicious. We had evening meal and breakfast and all enjoyed, being next to the open fire was an added bonus. Staff were all friendly, efficient and attentive. The owner made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay, you can definitely tell she puts her heart and sole into the place, which is stunning. Beds are comfortable and we all had a great nights sleep. We are planning to return for another stay just as a little treat. Price wise- exceptional value for money. Would recommend to anyone.

What a fantastic inn this is. Steeped in history. The host and staff were excellent.Food was of a high standard with great service. Some have mentioned that it needs a deep clean. With raging coal fires and the history what do some expect. Visit and be part of it.

We recently had our wedding night party at Knitsley Mill and we were not disappointed. Kim was an exceptional wedding planner ensuring everything was perfect and special, she spent months helping us plan our perfect night and during the event all of the staff were helpful, friendly and professional. All of our guests commented on the presentation of the venue and the outstanding quality of the food. Myself, husband and daughter stayed in their accommodation overnight, the rooms were beautiful and held a rustic theme. We were greeted by Pauline for our breakfast and she was a brilliant host and I must admit it was the best breakfast we have ever had. Many thanks to Kim, Pauline and staff for a wonderful and memorable party.
