Great food, lovely staff. Only a short menu but that meant that the food was fresh cooked and really tasty. A good find.

Just had one of the tastiest Thai meals. Fresh ingredients and cooked perfectly. We had Pad Thai, accompanied by drinks from the bar. Hoping to return next time we're near!

Really impressed with this place, serving very authentic Thai food. Fragrant, fresh and generous. We've been looking for decent Thai food in the area and this stands out. Super flavoursome and not skimping on any ingredient. The sweet & sour was traditionally made, which is just sooo much nicer. Pad thai was moist and very good and the green curry was yummy. This is home cooking with love and skill. Oh, even the fried rice was worth mentioning. We had a takeaway but the place was cosy too, so will be 'sitting down' there soon too :)

Delicious authentic Thai food, very reasonably priced and cooked to order by a friendly, welcoming Thai chef who will vary the 'spiciness' of each dish according to your taste. Enter this cosy 'home cafe' via the lounge bar of The Travellers and pick up your drinks as you pass through.

Visited here today with my friend and the owner of this place was lovely & welcoming. The food was freshly cooked and delicious. It’s very good value. If I lived in Darlington I’d be visiting here often. Don’t be put off by the location. The best things come in small packages.

This is my regular takeaway Sunday Lunch provider as the food, irrespective of which meat you choose, is always delicious & very tasty. Ratanna, the owner, is a very accomplished cook & she offers 2 sizes - small & regular. I had a small pork today (costing £6.90) & she also offers beef, chicken & lamb. All the meats are cooked to perfection. As such, these takeaway Sunday lunches are very popular, so it is advisable to order in advance. The Cafe is situated within the Travellers Rest pub in Cockerton Village. Highly recommended.

Great little place, service a bit slow, only because of its own success. A wow of a place for an intimate meal with friends. Food cooked for your own spice rating., ??
First visit in over 4 years - why did I wait so long. Went with a group of friends and we were all blown away by the quality of food for the price charged. 6 Starters, 6 Mains came to £84. Drinks bought from Travellers Rest, so incredibly cheap night. Food is phenomenal - so tasty, with spices balanced to your preference. Will eat here far more regularly in future.

Exceptional, yet rustic Thai food. Whilst some items were not available or from an older menu, this made little difference as the food that was freshly produced single-handedly was fantastic. Excellent value too.

Unassuming little place that serves amazing Thai food with such friendly service with it. Grab a drink from the pub and walk on through into a taste of Thailand….you won’t be disappointed.
