Rang to order our food the lady on phone was just saying yes yes yes never repeated our order back to me.we had our food delivered in 10 mins (we live local) but that was to quick .order was wrong .rang them to explain it was wrong.there said there would redeliver my order and to wrap up the order that was delivered to my house. And they would pick it up when driver got there .that shocked and disgusted me what is going to happen to the food that got delivered to me ? Rewarmed and sold on ??? Never again will order from this place

I've had 4 meals from Hong Tu .The sauces are very wartery other than that nice flavours. Salt and chilli ribs need to be looked at. There more like deep fried with no salt and chilli. Think I will try another next week.

Best Chinese in Darlington by far. so glad I found these. the spare ribs are tender and delish. the chow mein is amazing and salt and pepper chicken and the fried rice are amazing as well.

Hong tu has always been my go to Chinese they made excellent food, have not ordered for a while, and last night I treated myself to a crispy beef and roast duck in orange sauce, on arrival to pick it up I showed my order, and said was here to pick up these items, she went out back got them, then she went and spoke to chef and said something to her, and she just seemed to wave her on, and told her to give me my food, drove home and got ready to tuck in, they had swapped my crispy duck for a chicken breast in batter, with orange sauce that could be described as thickened Fanta, the egg fried rice tasted more like boiled rice, hardly any egg in it, and no flavour, did not look like it had hit the wok for more than 10 seconds, the beef was all soggy, and not crispy, by far the worst I have ever had, going from best Chinese to worst is a hell of an achievement, bring back the old chef, last night meal was awful.If you don't have duck inform the customer don't just replace and hope they cannot tell the difference

This is our favourite Chinese takeaway. After moving to Heighington and trying most Chinese in the area we've settled on Hong Tu. Probably had food from there 12 times so far, consistently very good. Our daughter and her husband (restaurant manager and executive chef) rate it very highly too).

I've been ordering from Hong tu for years I only changed to them because I became there postman and the place was spotless although 15 years later the place looks dated as do i! It's immaculately kept which is where I want to eat from!! And I've never had food delivered over an hour from ordering

Disgusted, unless you want your food to arrive 2 hours late, do not order from here. They are apparently ‘too busy’ on a Sunday night which is why is takes 2 hours for your food to arrive even though you live 10 minutes away.
They delivered to Catterick and also included some salt and pepper wings for free. The food I received was in a very reasonable time and was really tasty so thankyou
