Old people not allowed.I tried to take my elderly mum out here for a belated Mother’s Day lunch yesterday. Her mobility is limited so parked at the back and went in to scout out whether we could get in with her walking aid. Luckily as I came in the people nearest the door were leaving. I commented to the waitress that that was lucky as I could bring my mum in. No you can’t sit there and, directed by the owner pointed me to the most inaccessible table which actually had a reserved notice on it. Luckily for the people who were dining and for the discriminatory people who work there I walked away as I was immediately angry

Food was lovely but manager was a bit funny with me when I politely asked her for water bearing in mind it was my first time in the cafè (I wasn’t aware you could get it yourself). Staff were attentive and friendly considering it was busy.

Me and my partner came in this morning to have breakfast before work and I was utterly disappointed with my experience at this place. Upon coming to this diner we searched on google where we should eat and seeing the good reviews and tasty photos I was quite excited to eat here but was left feeling like I wasted my money and feeling disappointed. Despite it being Christmas time and it being fairly busy they said we could sit at a table till 11am for a booking which is fair, and was happy they made room for us. But from then it went downhill. The first woman who took our order was kind. They got our drinks wrong which I didn’t mind, mistakes are made and can’t be helped. The woman that gave us our drinks was incredibly rude and when I asked for our correct drinks she rolled her eyes as if she doesn’t get paid to work there. After she came and gave us our food. Missing out some of my breakfast which I had to ask for again. This waitress was incredibly rude giving customers dirty looks and not caring at all, I felt like an inconvenience asking for the correct food and drinks and even apologised for it and she did not care at all. I understand it’s a busy time and times can be stressful but I myself work in a pub and I understand the pressure but it costs no money to be kind and do your job. The only part that I enjoyed was the French toast but still wasn’t worth my money or time. I won’t be coming here again and wouldn’t advise anyone else unless you want to feel like an inconvenience to the people that work there.

This was my first and last visit here. I had arranged to meet a friend here for coffee at 10am, upon entering I was asked if a table had been booked, no it wasn't. They had a table for 2 which they said we could have but it was booked for 12, or so the sign on the rable said. My friend arrived shortly after me 2 drinks were ordered and a piece of cake. At this point the cafe was busy and yes they were turning people away. However, after 25minutes the waitress came upto us and asked would we be much longer as they needed the table due to having to turn customers away! Sadly at this point we felt like we had over stayed our welcome, or had not spent enough to warrant a long stay! My opinion, it went from a lovely cafe I would go back to, to feeling unwelcome.

We came here, slightly hungover for brunch! we were glad we'd booked for a late Saturday morning, as it was so busy we did have to wait a while but quality of food was excellent and there were so many things I could have chosen off the menu, definitely need to come back! highly recommend.
