“We had a lovely meal here tonight. We rang ahead and booked a table as it was a 20 min drive from home. We were greeted warmly, and seated straight away. We had cod and chips, battered sausage and chips and haggis and chips. All the food was delicious and freshly cooked. The fish was perfect, with lovely light batter, and the chips were tasty. We were impressed at how fresh the food was. We all had a dessert too, as we were feeling frivolous - sticky toffee pudding, chocolate fondant and cheesecake. All served with a choice of Archer's ice cream or custard. The food was excellent, the staff were very friendly, helpful and polite. The restaurant is bright, well decorated, and very welcoming. I would highly recommend a visit and the recent award is well justified. There is a small car park too, we were lucky to find a spot! We will definitely return.”

“Absolutely fantastic chippy. Everything cooked fresh and to order. Great value for money. Staff were exceptionally nice and courteous with all the customers, despite being quite busy. They take card which is very important in this day and age. Will definitely be going back.Parking: Small parking area to the right hand side and an abundance of on-street parking”
