Food & drink generally good, however advertise scones but never any. I have no problem with the cafe itself but some of the staff! Some of them are rude, unfriendly and abrupt. Myself and a group go in every week, sometimes there are 10 of us. We have to move tables but always put them back when we are finished

We always pop in on family walks and picnic days. Carrot cakes and brownies are our favourite, and coffee tastes good.

Pretty good cafe, the cakes they have are really good. The pre-packed sandwiches etc are just the same as a supermarket but more expensive. The coffee is decent, they also have plenty of ice lollies etc for sunny days.Kid-friendliness: It's not a place for kids to be running around etc, but the staff have always been very friendly with my daughter.Wheelchair accessibility: There is possibly a rear entrance with a ramp, but the main entrance is just steps.

I went to the cafe, with my dad, who has dementia. He was in a wheelchair but managed the steps, only to realise there was a ramp round the back, which would have helped. The staff were really friendly and helpful, and nothing was too much bother for them..putting the coffee in a cup rather than a disposable cup and giving us a teaspoon for his ice cream, rather than the wooden spoon. Thank you, it made his trip out so much easier.

Fab place to meet up with a friend and their dogs, coffee was lovely, blueberry muffin was too, although a bit on the pricey side for quite a small muffin,Lots of seating options, we went for the picnic table type that was bolted to the ground - ideal for us so we could secure our dogs to the table while one of us got coffee or went to the toiletLovely park to walk aroundThere are signs in quite a few places saying keep dogs on leads - it's a shame not everyone does especially with the amount of birds/wildlife & other people wanting to enjoy the park

Friendly staff but very pricey for basic menu.

After picking up a few bits of shopping we called at South Park for a walk round, as the café was open we called in for a cuppa and sandwich, couldn't complain 2 packs of sandwiches 2 coffees for just over £10, can't go wrong. Place is open each day other than 25th 26th &27th of December until 3pm.

I love popping in here when I’m with the kids. A great little cafe with a small but perfectly adequate choice of food, drinks and snacks.Opening hours are better than they have been with previous owners and food quality is decent.
