As always the service is great and food is lovely, Not loving the updated menu as hardly any changes, we eat here a lot and it’s starting to get repetitive… the banoffee choux bun is not great, bring the pie back, larger sandwich options needed for lunchtime as it is limited really and not great options, all in all a great place with good food but a few tweaks could make it fantastic… Staff are superb!

Great pub that allows dogs, has Doom bar beer on draught, and decent fish and chips. Good craic with the staff too. Highly recommended.

Went today party of 6 ,husband got the fish and chips ,batter was burnt,son got the trio of lamb which consisted of shepherd's pie which looked like it had been under hotplate for a long time and lamb very fatty and over cooked after asking us how we would like it ,said pink but was overcooked ,will mot return after spending over 110 pound wish we had gone to mcdonalds

Our waitress was excellent, helpful and friendly. She made us feel welcome, nothing was too much trouble. The atmosphere was comfortable and relaxed. The food was mainly decent and enjoyable without being extra special. Major drawbacks were the undercooked vegetables and part raw new potatoes.Vegetarian options: Several vegetarian options
We were served by Lottie. The service was quick and efficient. Good pub food.
