Lovely pub and great food. Took my daughter and the kids menu is brilliant. Really friendly staff and reasonably priced. Nice atmosphere too.

Came in for a quick pint after work and ended up staying for food too after seeing the food coming out of the kitchen. Had a steak and chicken combo and was canny. Will be back

Another great evening. Here with friends, food was great, drinks are good. Sarah was very friendly and welcoming. Love this place and all the staff, only down side is now closing early on a Sunday, so not coming in on a Sunday now.

Have enjoyed many main meals and drinks here over many years. The last three evening meals experienced here have been very poor. Sizzling fajitas, undercooked, cold and returned to kitchen. 5 oz steak that I often order, 2 inches long and barely edible. Tonight ordered mixed grill, hubby ordered medium 8 oz steak, both meals were cremated. Both skillets burnt food present, food tasted burnt. Onions two rings of fried onions burnt, onion rings barely seen an oven, gammon, chicken and steak burnt, mushrooms unregognisable, sausage see photo. Persevered as no staff attended table as usual to see how meal was, eventually left some of meal. Very disappointing as bought drinks and wine to go with meal and evening spoilt. Addressed issue with staff member when she collected plates and manager issued refund. Would you let this go out of your kitchen. Very disappointed, with response although manager apologised, felt very let down. I

Fantastic family get together for lunch on Sunday the food was loverly we had the Xmas menu the food for hot and served 22 of us fast the only thing I would say who ever thinks the menu up why can’t we have a traditional Turkey lunch in stead we get turkey on a stick with a ball of stuffing on the end with a sausage very tasty but try explaining to a 90 year old what this is !!!some times carved turkey is best with sprouts ! Fantastic service from manager and team
